PLACETHEATRE approaches public realms of three neglected public areas in Novi Sad, Serbia, and applies innovative and unconventional art-based methodologies to help citizens regain their sense of community and belonging in a sustainable, socially-inclusive and circular manner. "Dialogues of the Future" and "Street theatres" are used to explore issues with urban but remote neighbourhoods and to help inhabitants envision a brighter future for their streets and squares. 

The Sustainable Hiker’s Guide makes nature accessible to all: no car needed! By mapping accessible hiking routes near Turin reachable by public transport, we make outdoor adventures sustainable, inclusive, and affordable for all. Designed for families, students, and diverse communities, the project removes economic and social barriers to nature. Through guided walks and environmental education, we promote eco-friendly mobility and the right for everyone to explore the outdoors!

The separate collection of waste is being discussed more and more. While separate waste collection is necessary, not all residents want five different waste bins in front of their gates or multiple waste trucks maneuvering through narrow streets. One possible solution is a community circular house - but this can be more than just a place for waste bins. You can create it together with the community to become a meeting and learning place for everyone.

Barcelona Verde is a citizen initiative that invites residents to plant a tree on their balcony to improve air quality and create green urban spaces. The city could gain 800,000 new trees. The campaign was launched by mothers and children from the Istituto Italiano Statale Comprensivo di Barcellona. An educational blog guides citizens on planting trees from seeds and watering them with household wastewater, making it easy for everyone to join the movement. Together, we can do BCN greener.

Mini Mega Spazio is a flexible urban regeneration project by Graphic Days® and Print Club Torino, transforming public spaces across Turin’s metropolitan area through scalable micro-actions. It fosters community engagement, inclusivity, and environmental awareness by involving schools, marginalized targets, associations, and neighborhoods in co-design workshops, public events, and creative initiatives—turning underutilized spaces into vibrant and lush shared places with a new sense of belonging.

Caomhnú is a storytelling project exploring Irish rural communities’ perspectives on climate change and climate action. ​Many people living in rural areas feel like their voices are not included in conversations about the climate crisis, even though the regions they live in are already experiencing difficult climate-related changes. Caomhnú centres and connects rural communities by sharing their climate stories to increase climate resilience and sense of agency for climate action.

Villa Lisa is a pilot project of 24 new housing units following the ‘solidarity lease’ scheme ( “Bail Réel Solidaire” or BRS in France) and 9 social housing units in Nantes (France). It was completed in 2023. The project consists of three buildings from 2 to 5 stories, along with an underground parking garage. This 1,900 m² living space is an innovative and socially responsible project. It was designed by the RAMDAM Architecture Workshop for the CIF Group in association with Nantes Metropole.

Implementation of new methodologies to prevent forest fires through the use of prescribed fire and extensive grazing for fuel management.

Augustine’s Garden is an architectural ensemble for residential use that consists of an Art Nouveau-style residence and former low-rise manufacturing units in the courtyard. Since none of the buildings are newly constructed, it presents an exemplary case of adaptive reuse that preserves constructions regardless of their historical value or aesthetic qualities. The former backyard is turned into a contemporary urban garden that fully embraces its post-industrial aesthetics with a new twist.

A contemporary refuge in the Serra d’Ordal that redefines sustainability. This zero-consumption home relies on materials with minimal impact and circularity principles, integrating harmoniously with the environment. Its bioclimatic design optimizes solar gain, ventilation and thermal inertia, eliminating the need for energy demand. A home that not only respects the landscape, but also interacts with it, offering comfort with the lowest possible environmental impact.
