"La Gritaera" aims to shake up the cultural landscape of the rural areas of the Region of Murcia, areas characterized by demographic risk, precarious living and social conditions.The loss, as a society, of cultural values, identity, and a collective sense of belonging. This cultural mediation project in rural areas aims to promote access to Cultural Rights in the territory and contemporary models, while also fostering intergenerational exchange and revitalizing other sectors.

This project proposes that Vilariño de Conso should have a Wool Transformation Centre where wool can be taken to be sorted and washed, if possible, as it has several traditional washing places, some of which are in poor condition and could be renewed and adapted. On a visit to some of them there are even abandoned outbuildings that could be used for sorting or storage.

The From Huts to Homes programme helps homeless people and families move from self-built huts to sustainable, affordable rentals, renovated with the help of volunteers and future tenants. This allows them to reintegrate into the fabric of urban society through the crucial first step of establishing a permanent personal space that they can call their homes. To create sustainable societies, social work and community programmes support our tenants.

WAISENSE is an intelligent water management solution that optimizes water use and prevents leaks, transforming plumbing systems in both smart homes and industrial settings. By integrating with smart home systems, it reduces consumption by up to 37%, while in industrial applications, it improves operational efficiency and sustainability. WAISENSE embodies the New European Bauhaus values, enhancing accessibility, aesthetics and circular economy principles across residential and industrial sectors.

The project to enhance the tourist appeal of the Vorokhtyanska community connects people with nature, raises environmental awareness, and improves visitor comfort. It includes wooden bridges, benches, interactive stands, an insect hotel, and a soil section installation at the Rudyak swamp, with signage for easy navigation. The project restores ecosystems, conserves biodiversity, and integrates nature-based solutions, ensuring accessibility and fostering community-nature harmony.

What started as the idea of an urban ecologist and a furniture designer has turned into a real project within a year. With the invention of the "rainwater bench," a story began that not only led to the creation of a multifunctional urban piece of furniture for the sponge cities of the future but also to an eco-social project in collaboration with the district office of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. Throughout this journey, we have learned a lot about circular product development, climate adaptation

The Pocket Yard project is a transformation of the adjacent territory of an apartment building into a green, ecological and comfortable area for residents. Using nature-oriented solutions, residents have created a unique space for recreation, biodiversity and sustainable coexistence of the city and nature.

NOOX is a housing concept designed to address the growing challenges of homeownership, particularly in urban environments. Inspired by the idea of a “nook” - a small, cozy space that offers comfort and security - NOOX creates compact, thoughtfully designed living spaces that provide an immediate sense of home. As cities become denser and real estate prices continue to rise, NOOX offers an alternative to traditional housing models.

Vast areas of the public realm are becoming a threat to our thermal health as the urban fabric we designed decades ago, cannot mitigate the increasing heat exposure due to climate change. Posing a health risk to vulnerable groups (young children, senior citizens, and people with pre-existing conditions), Public Power implemented socially, ecologically, and sustainably valuable shading to reduce the temperature in urban spaces to restore the quality of life and prevent social exclusion.

Connecting Seveso brings together public administrations and civil society to shape the future of green areas along the Seveso and Tarò-Certesa rivers. Through participatory workshops, future envisioning, and surveys, we co-design seven pilot areas and craft a Strategic Development Plan aligned with NEB values. Our goal: a shared, sustainable, and thriving vision for these vital landscapes!
