'WE DO NOT LIVE IN A HOUSE, BUT AN ECOSYSTEM'. The project develops the research for a new model of production and consumption for global social justice and well-being, based on the design with the Map of Resources, started in 'Life Reusing Posidonia' (2012-2020), a Climate Change Adaptation Project winner of the 2021 LIFE environment Award by the EU. One of the main improvements of this new project in Mallorca is standardisation to compensate the extra cost of the local low-carbon materials.

The Cultural Prescription project in Central Alentejo was a pilot project promoted by the Intermunicipal Community of Central Alentejo which followed the principle that culture and creativity has a transformative power, assuming those as essential elements in the promotion of mental health and well-being of citizens. It involves the prescription of cultural and creative activities by family doctors (GP) to users with mild to moderate mental health conditions.

Visit Village is an ”Airbnb” for farms, blending agritourism with modern needs for an active vacation in nature. It enables direct farm stays, offering tourists a chance to experience rural life while benefiting from nature’s therapeutic effects. The platform promotes traditional farming, sustainable tourism, and cultural heritage. Beyond recreation, visitors gain hands-on experience in agriculture,from winemaking to organic food production,preserving traditions while supporting rural economies.

CRCLR HUT is Berlin TXL Urban Tech Republic’s first circular timber building, paving the way for Europe’s largest timber quarter, Schumacher Quartier. This pilot project showcases sustainable construction using only reusable elements dismantlable without site intrusion. The pavilion integrates modern technologies and materials meeting the highest ecological standards. A micro-modular approach with circular timber bricks and innovative solutions demonstrates scalable circular building practices.

Vertical Farming, Horizontal Solidarity reduces recidivism by combining food production with social reintegration. Through the installation of aeroponic towers, food literacy and social entrepreneurship training, prisoners grow fresh produce for vulnerable families while cultivating new skills and opportunities. This project fosters community regeneration, personal development and sustainability, proving that prisons can be spaces of growth and transformation.

Proximity Utopia is a floating installation that redefines the relationship between city and nature. Placed on the Onyar River, it becomes an island of biodiversity, blurring the boundaries between architecture and ecosystem. Using native species, it highlights nature as essential urban infrastructure. More than an aesthetic gesture, it envisions a future where cities embrace landscapes rather than displace them, inviting us to rethink how we inhabit our environment.

The Ghent’s Land project explored the history and future of Ghent’s public farmland. Through an exhibition at STAM and debates with citizens, farmers, and civil servants, it raised awareness of sustainable agriculture and food systems. By connecting past and present, it fostered dialogue and inspired action for socially just and ecologically sustainable land use, highlighting the vital role of public farmland in strengthening urban-rural relations.

This project investigates the recent recovery experiences of formerly depopulated settlements in the mountainous territory of the Spanish Pyrenees. Through an exhaustive study-case analysis, this research identifies the initial conditions and the strategies developed by diverse communities to re-occupy these places. These replicable strategies contribute to the sustainable regeneration and management of challenged and transforming rural territories.

The revitalization aimed to protect and make available the natural resources of this picturesque place. It is a tribute to Dr. Michalina Wisłocka, who experienced her great love in Lubniewice. In the park there are sculptures that refer to the broadly understood theme of love - parental, partner and nature. The project was led by the Lubniewice Commune and contributed to preserving the unique landscape and improving the quality of life of residents and tourists.

The project transforms the archetype of the ancestral farm, initially oriented towards a private organisation, into a new morphology that is no longer a farm. This agri-cultural center serves as a test to better support actors in the sustainable food transition. Productive, educational and recreational activities intermingle to offer a place that shows all stages of food production: production, processing, sale and consumption in an attractive environment accessible to all.
