Open House Tirana is it’s a movement embodying the New European Bauhaus values by reconnecting people with the spaces that shape their daily lives. By opening doors to iconic and overlooked architecture, we invite the public to experience the city in new ways, fostering dialogue, inclusivity, and cultural identity. Through guided tours, visual storytelling, and participatory events, we celebrate heritage, urban regeneration, and contemporary design, making architecture accessible to all.

Café Bauhaus supports EUYO musicians and recent alumni to create projects in their home regions, connecting great music with other forms of art and activism, in beautiful, sustainable, innovative and inclusive ways. Each award offers seed funding plus free consultancy services from the EUYO executive team and partnership network to bring the winners’ creative vision to life.

In the Western Balkans' transitional context, small cities face a depopulation trend, leaving behind neglected spaces and diminishing community life. SETUP uncovers the potential of forgotten spaces, transforming them through small-scale urban interventions. SETUP merges architecture and social engagement to initiate sustainable narratives that catalyze long-term positive change. SETUP involves a multidisciplinary approach, giving the community a platform at every step of the process.

The housing challenge is particularly evident in the Balearic Islands where land is scarce, and the pressure of tourism and real estate is constantly increasing. This building of 9 public housing units promoted by the Balearic Housing Institute aims to solve to housing and climate emergency and at the same time to recover the sense of belonging of its inhabitants by using traditional materials and techniques combined with industrialized processes.

Today’s new generations, particularly young people, will face consistent landscape changes in their lives. Can we involve children and university students in co-designing landscapes that consider climate change? Starting from exploring different forms of "play," the project aims to educate and engage younger generations in climate change issues. Games serve as tools for students to acquire knowledge, view the world from diverse perspectives, and ultimately imagine and transform the future.

Our project engages high school students in reimagining and transforming urban spaces through an innovative and sustainable approach aligned with the New European Bauhaus vision. By fostering community involvement, creativity, and environmental awareness, students develop concrete proposals for urban regeneration, addressing social and ecological challenges. Through collaborative learning and digital tools, they become active agents of change for a more inclusive and beautiful future

Discover the new Primary School in Sissa (Parma). Designed to integrate with the surrounding rural landscape, this eco-friendly building spans an area of 16.000 m² and accommodates up to 250 students in vibrant, light-filled classrooms and versatile laboratories. Utilizing sustainable wood construction and energy-efficient technologies, the school enhances community well-being. It’s not just a school, it’s a nurturing environment where nature and education thrive together.

"Die Gute Stube" revitalizes vacant spaces and strengthens young people's sense of belonging in the Bregenzerwald region. Housed in a former hotel, it has become a unique space for culture, exchange, and entrepreneurship. As an open meeting and creative hub, it connects generations, tradition, and innovation. It fosters new ideas, social networks, and cultural impulses – a vibrant place where young people actively shape their surroundings and experience a strong sense of community.

The New Avenue of the Three Cultures Project in Monzón seeks to revitalize two main urban roads, recovering their monumental and historical character. On the traces of the old medieval wall, a promenade has been created that enhances its heritage value, showcasing an old well and representing symbols of the city's intangible legacy. The development has followed traditional principles of architectural modulation using the Measuring Stone, inspired by medieval Master Builders.
