Viana Abordo is project created by Dinamo10 in partnership with the City Hall of Viana do Castelo to promote attraction/ retention of young talent through connection between urban and rural contexts and interaction between economic sectors (from the creative industries to agriculture or the blue economy). Its regular events allow the maintenance of an ongoing conversation between civil society, local businesses and regional authorities, to identify specific needs and generate viable solutions.

The Garden of Moving Time is about restoring the relationship to time from social structures to cosmic dimensions. Students from a secondary school for economy, sustainability, social management and care worked with artists, teachers and various experts to design a garden on the school grounds. The participants’ visions and their presence on site became decisive for the artistic planning process. A place of biodiversity was created; nature is very welcome as teacher in the new green classroom.

The "House to Be Extended" is a collective housing project by Praeger Richter Architects in Berlin, Germany. The building elements of the timber-concrete hybrid structure are used according to their lifecycle. The load-bearing structure in a dense urban context ensures a lasting high flexibility of the column-free units. Its facade, built in dry and composite-free construction, and the interior fit-out made of renewable resources ensure future reparability and waste-free deconstruction.

The Collegium Academicum in Heidelberg is an innovative student residence. The building incorporates a unique flexible construction system allowing residents to reconfigure living spaces and adapt them to changing needs. Designed and self-managed by its residents, CA pioneers a transformative approach to communal living and education. CA demonstrates that high-quality architecture, ecological responsibility and affordability can coexist and sets a precedent for the future of sustainable housing.

La Surera is a collective, rural and self-managed project, created in 2016 to promote horizontal participation and drive bottom-up changes towards new social, economic, and environmental paradigms. It focuses on economic relocalization and the sustainable use of local resources. It operates as a space for social and economic experimentation, aiming to demonstrate the relevance of the local and rural scale in addressing current challenges such as the ecological crisis and depopulation.

"SORIA ABIERTA" project brings together three of the action lines of the EDUSI program "SORIA INTRAMUROS." The project's goals focus on the need to connect different parts of the city, link its points of interest, and enhance the urban environment so that different generations can enjoy welcoming spaces that encourage interaction and diverse shared uses.

Spherical street lamps are installed in many courtyards and pathways in European cities and towns, providing soft, even romantic light. But these lanterns glow in all directions, which adds light pollution to our cities. Nightcaps is a series of sculptures that ensure that light only shines downwards - in a playful, surprising, and culturally diverse way, addressing the under-valued topic of light pollution and its effects on humans and urban wildlife.

Social Green Hub transforms an 18th-century building into a sustainable coworking space, offering affordable memberships, flexible workspaces, and free learning opportunities. It promotes eco-friendly practices through energy-efficient systems and waste reduction. The hub attracts remote workers to counter rural depopulation, boosting the local economy and creating jobs. Through community engagement, technology integration it serves as a model for rural development in Europe.

The Gardens4Good project brings together European citizens to co-create and co-steward rooftop gardens for positive social impact. We leverage previously unused spaces to create gardens on the roofs of buildings housing fragile populations, such as Alzheimer retirement homes & social apartments, providing the residents with intergenerational educational activities that lead to a sense of purpose, creativity & inclusion, as well as increased consumption of healthy, locally-produced foods.
