Deforestation will be a major topic in our future lives. New Sources tackles this phenomenon and provides a new solution for a sustainable production of everyday objects without wasting valuable material. Through an interconnection of 3D-scanning, computational design and robotic fabrication it is possible to use leftover materials from the wood industry in a serially production process. Branches that have no direct application so far are transformed by algorithms into domestic objects.

The Sheds is a project located in Alsace. We are conceiving a green neighborhood and revitalizing a small town which was doomed by the presence of an old industrial wasteland. This company was manufacturing textile. Today we want to keep this beautiful architectural aspect, and make it alive again, with a combination of houses, shops, workshops and offices, all aligned with ecological values. For example the houses will tend to be autonomous in terms of energy, but also food. 

"Open Reggio Emilia", through a process of research, analysis and project proposal, envisions an innovative urban scenario. By applying the principles of the open city it imagines to open the Tondo and Gardenia neighborhoods by designing a gradual process of transformation that boosts urban porosity and social inclusion through sustainable actions.

The "Bet of the Living" is a public actions design framework aiming to shift european post-industrial shrinking cities perspectives by empowering its human and non-human actors and reinforcing its fragilized resources.

Series of jewellery that make broken tiles a collector's item. It rescues the principles of the tile pattern, sometimes isolating and highlighting the module – in earrings -, sometimes applying its repetition in the creation of a spectacular unit – in bracelets/necklaces. The name is associated with the urgent purpose of rethinking the life of factory waste, and has the audacity to recall the golden Renaissance times, when tiles began to be produced in Portugal, with national characteristics.

A project of an urban farm, consisting of a public park (planted with vegetables, fruits and flowers) and a complex of buildings (combining agral, recreational and educational functions), the heart of which is the high-rise building of the "Orangery" containing all-year-round vertical gardens for public, semi-private use and private.

Start-up Campus is a solution that aims to revive the entrepreneurial culture of young Europeans, that developed 20th century society.

In recent years, the growing need to emigrate for entrepreneurship has led to a waste of local potential for cities with limited resources.

The project seeks to offer residential, productive and commercial facilities for the new local generations from Vitoria-Gasteiz, generating a system that attracts population to a new hub linked to the green belt.

We aim for change in the food consumption habits. Personal touch when buying directly from the farm (even if digitally), knowing the food origin will be ground for mindful buying and economic gain and motivation for local farmers to grow.

After the 2008 Financial Crisis, many buildings in Spain were left half-built due to a lack of funds. The Music School of Paracuellos de Jarama was one of them. Fourteen years later, the Townhall needs to refurbish the two-storey abandoned structure and ground-level space left as an Urban Corpse in the centre of this municipality.

The Cultures Square is a proposal to create a new public space and multi-purpose Cultural Centre in the space underground. Reusing the existing to create a new life.

Existing sound panels are usually made of MDF, treated wood, plastic foams, which can be dangerous and polluting once the product comes to the end of life. Moreover, when a panel is damaged, it should be discarded, creating much more waste. By exploiting properties of natural wood offcuts otherwise sent for burning, we target the problems of treated wood dismission and lessen the wood importation, creating a circular furniture system that can rework and reshape pieces during Product life cycle.
