From the 50’s, the fever of the agricol greenhouses development brought a huge population increase and an important expansion of the agricultural areas. Trapped between sea and mountains, Roquetas de Mar cannot expand itself beyond its geographical limits.

Today, the patrimonial constructions had been abandoned, the new buildings are no longer based on local resources (material, culture, knowledge, social) and the wastes from greenhouses are flooding in the city and contaminate the souls.

We live in a world full of stressors. Our systems of living today manifest a global health issue; a certain detachment to our own respective well-being and conscious experiencing our everyday lives. Floating therapy is a form of water therapy that has been clinically proven to relieve stress and anxiety through an immersive experience. Floating in nature, connects humans to nature on a deeper level, stimulating an inner awakening and spiritual connection to our bodies and the Earth.

Simbiosis is a declaration of intent, a conscious look towards the future that responds to the current need for environmental responsibility in the design process, through the application of sustainable elements.
The fifteen brooches that make up the collection, create a link between object and subject through their growth and care, blurring the boundaries between piece and user, while configuring a green and individual space that invites us to reflect on our impact on nature. 

Our mission is to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. With global temperatures rising, the faster we free ourselves from fossil fuel reliance and achieve a zero-emission future, the better. In pursuit of this mission, we make intelligent solar street lights that are not just great luminaries, but an IOT dispositive. We also produce clean urban and rural products that help our citizens further decrease their environmental impact along with saving a massive quantity of money.

The 'Grow 10 Trees' Project has been created to encourage citizens to get pro-active and grow and nurture local trees, bushes and plants at their own home from seeds provided by G10T. These saplings will eventually be used for afforestation projects within the Maltese Archipelago to combat the serious shortage of flora both within the urban context and also in the countryside. G10T uses its social media platform and other means to help increase awareness in favour of the environment.

While society is becoming increasingly more mobile, refugees continue to be excluded from the otherwise unrestricted mobility that has been established across national borders. This project aims to inspire spatial planners and designers working along national borders to shift focus from controlling movements to tranforming neglected urban areas along borders into inclusive living environments in which inhabitants can profit from the large amount of movements inherent to border space.

How to guarantee an object to be recycled in a system which does not recycle all what we collect ?

The Circular Object Label is a European label associated with conception and manufacturing techniques linked to existing sorting and recycling facilities which are also technically, economically and locally accessible thanks to precise specifications operating into the object conception and assembly. Thus, we can guarantee that labelled objects will be sorted and recycled through those channels.

SYMBIOTIC BOOM! stands for regenerative rather than consuming pattern so we don’t go back to the pre-crisis production model. A system that we were told it was impossible to slow down, is now facing its global limits. Taking account of the fact that resources are becoming scarcer and beyond reach, the symbiotic economy restores soil integrity for a sustainable local productivity. At last it regives to locals collective ground use and shared infrastructures

The current pilot project of the Water Museum of Venice includes only a network of water-based places from Padua and Rovigo. The idea is to enlarge it by adding new Italian partners located in the northeast of the country to create an interregional and participatory ecomuseum to support the local cultural and natural sites. In the next future, this model can be even more developed involving Italian and European places such as those within the "Water Museums Global Network" (WAMU-NET).

The schoolyard is an essential factor in the learning of children. It influences their way of understanding their environment and people around them. The Inclusive Factory is a playful way to vegetate schoolyards by implanting cork games and changing temperature of educational spaces. Children build their play-spaces with plants thanks to the help of others in order to see playgrounds as inclusive co-constructive ecosystems. A pedagogy open to creativity and observation towards the outside.
