Our mission is to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. With global temperatures rising, the faster we free ourselves from fossil fuel reliance and achieve a zero-emission future, the better. In pursuit of this mission, we make intelligent solar street lights that are not just great luminaries, but an IOT dispositive. We also produce clean urban and rural products that help our citizens further decrease their environmental impact along with saving a massive quantity of money.

Summary

The Staria Technologies project is designed with the necessary determination to lead the change that the current situation demands. This change is understood from an economic and ecological perspective. Lighting the streets with artificial light has an exorbitant cost and the way it is operated is far from sustainable. Staria will strongly enter the renewable energy market. The proposal offers a solution to all the problems of the current system in an intelligent and autonomous way. The idea is simple: replace all lighting nationwide with a prototype that uses solar energy as a source of supply and the device itself as a battery to operate in the absence of a natural source. We are at a time in the history of humanity where, as Bill Gates rightly states in his latest book on the urgency of energy alternatives that reduce emissions, sustainability and innovation is the only alternative and salvation. The lighting system established in Spain is deficient in financial and environmental terms. As the EU published through the 2030 agenda, and we are beginning to see in the business aid they are granting to Spain, sustainability is the main incentive. Staria intends to anticipate and take advantage of the fact that Spain, one of the countries with the most hours of natural light in the UE, will emerge in the coming years as a benchmark in terms of electricity production. Staria is the name that will carry out this change.

Key objectives for sustainability

Everything starts when we create the product, making it high % recyclable components. Once we are changing the components; 6 years after the installation the battery (lifepo 4) is replaced, we recycle them, and after, we can use them again. After 20 years, all the different components, like the solar panel, driver, case,... are being recycled too.

Key objectives for aesthetics and quality

Our company is committed to the technological leap in the road and urban lighting. In this way, the incorporation of innovative, efficient, and sustainable technologies will improve the quality of life of cities and all those who live in them.
As an example, we made a research on the annual expenditure that 4 municipalities spend on public lighting and what they would have if they implemented our IOT solar LED technology. As we realized, by using our technology, the annual expense would be reduced by more than 70%. With LED Solar IOT technology, most of the electrical costs would be eliminated and the only remaining cost would be maintenance. The solution that STARIA TECHNOLOGIES will offer would be to get municipalities to reduce their annual spending on lighting and to hire a company that is in charge of lighting management for half of that cost. We will take care of the replacement and maintenance of public lighting for half of that cost annually. The technology we use is made up of three fundamental pillars: - Solar self-sufficiency: Reduction of electricity consumption. It does not require electrical wiring or electrical installations for its use. - Smart lighting: Implementation of a motion sensor to reduce light pollution during low-traffic hours of the night. This will reduce consumption and light during hours when there is no pedestrian traffic. - Remote management of the lighting system: Through software, all the luminaires will be part of a larger connected interface. All kinds of functions can be established through the use of a computer, such as: on and off, the light percentage of the hours of light. In the hybrid model, the battery will be charged during off-peak hours. In this way, in areas with little solar incidence, the autonomy of 24 hours can be ensured.

With this idea, we pretend to help just not people from our environment but anyone that needs light, even in remote areas while we contribute to creating a better world for our future generations, encouraging them to think in a greener way.

Basically, we made an affordable product that not only will be amortized from the first day of installation, but it will save a massive quantity of money to any citizen, government, company, municipality, that is being affected by the increase in the price of the electricity.

With the creation of a maximum sun orientable panel, plus its versatility, easy installation, and affordable price we come up with being available from poor to rich countries.

When it comes to achieving our goals, we are proud to ourselves to create a facility that makes people's life easier. 

The team is concerned and fully motivated with these objectives in mind, combining sustainability, the zero-emissions mission, the use of our infinity source of energy, and helping necessities of people that have been not accomplished yet because of the lack of structure or massive quantity of money.
