The Deeltuin is an reinvention of the collective neighbourhood garden. With this design, residents are invited to connect with each other and feel ownership that extends beyond their own plot boundaries, thereby creating a distinct shared neighborhood identity for a new city district.
We are hoping to create a virtual memory-scape using dust as the guiding metaphor for our relationship with the planet and with each other. Using dust’s ubiquitous nature as both an environmental force and a domestic presence, we will create a VR experience where people can input their own audio recollections and listen to other’s audio memories by wandering through a virtual world where each dust cloud tells its story.
A former ship wharf transformed into a puriifying park and breeding ground for creative and social entrepreneurs. Through the reuse of houseboats, the plant-based soil-purification and the application of integrated sustainable techniques, the development of ‘De Ceuvel’ is an example of a successful marriage between creativity and sustainable, circular urban development.

This proposal refers to a wine package-like bag in the box made in a circular economy logic by using a vine stalk to create a composite material. The production of wine bottles represents one of the factors with the most significant environmental impact on the wine's life cycle. Therefore, it is an alternative to glass bottles, a lighter material that would significantly reduce its environmental impact and promote by-products and residues in the wine production process.
The project is situated in a green area outside the city center, in an alpine landscape featured by well recognizable natural and anthropic signs. The structure of building is exposed and highlighted by details that reveal the dimension and expressiveness of the wood and relate to the beauty of the Dolomite landscape. The supporting structure has been conceived in timber, both for environmental compatibility and consistency with the Alpine building tradition, from which it draws inspiration.
The objective of the project is the establishment of a european-wide, growing, self- organized network of cooling-optimized, shared urban open spaces (coolspots) via the "Troepferlbad" method.
