The project “Regional Ecosystem Bregenzerwald” explores the hinterlands of our food consumption and production by the example of the Bregenzerwald region in Austria.

A concept was developed to cultivate the landscape of Andelsbuch to people’s needs and to close the spatial and emotional gap of production & consumption. Preceiving building stock as a crucial resource for sustainable urban development, a proposal was implemented to enable a symbiotic programme of craft & community.

My idea is to put in practice all my ecology knowledge in a sustainable tourism. To implement my idea, the solution is to create an online platform with ecological content and to create a habitat for tourist, students and all categories interested about how they could create a unique experience exploring our beautiful nature.The Danube Delta Biosphere, through her natural and cultural richness, could change our lifestyle.

The action "District X: Plural Looks on museums" was born as a challenge, with the aim of involving the LGBTQI+ community and the Porta Venezia district in the creation of new meanings and new readings on the theme of gender identity and sexual orientation thanks to civically conscious actions. The action emerged as a pilot project to test innovative replicable and sustainable engagement methodologies.

Can we choose sustainable cities if we have never experienced one? Since 2019 EFdeN has been developing a living lab that works as a prototype for future urban development. EFdeN Sustainable City has created a multidisciplinary space that will guide people and make them aware of the environment in which they live. The structure of our project consists of eight thematic areas built in an innovative way that introduce people to sustainable education.

CoLiSpa brings the knowledge on founding intentional communities into the rural area of upper frankonia - it is a van, a library, a cafe, a cinema and a workshop space. By connecting and bringing people together it transforms abandoned villages into visions of community living and vitality.

Define, design and prototype new ways of partioning and improving the quality of living spaces. Partion solutions were developed by multitalented teams with architects, designers, manufacturers and marketing people from the furniture and construction industries. The main objective was to design partitions in order to optimize living space with multifunctional and scalable partitions. Those partitions are made of wood, bio-based or re-used materials; in other words "low impact" solutions.

The Boekentoren, a modernist masterpiece designed by Henry van de Velde in the 1930s, has been restored and geared to the current requirements of library use and conservation. To this end, a new entrance pavilion generates a new sequence of spaces around the inner garden. Including a reading café, a canopied terrace and workspaces for handling digital data. Together with the necessary technical modifications, this clear-up restores the building’s dignity as a place for study and reading.

MALVA is a modular planter system built out of materials reclaimed from decommissioned school desks, planted with wild flowers and shrubs from the regional flora, to be installed in various dimensions and configurations in public and communal spaces in urban settings. The aim of the concept is to make accessible to urban dwellers a display of the rich biodiversity of the regions encompassing our cities while providing viable habitats for pollinators and engaging the public in a practical way.

The object of my proposal is the design of an origami pavilion with rigid panels obtained from the repetition of a triangular module. Thanks to parametric modelling and digital fabrication, it was possible to set up a process consisting of five steps:(1) Physical computer simulation of the origami fold;(2) Choice of the fold angle to obtain a set of coherent connections;(3) Generation of the cutting files of each element with relative labeling;(4) Production via laser cutting; and (5) Assembly.

Mending Termini Station is a utopian but possible Rome, a multicentric and interconnected, sustainable and inclusive city. It is the definition of a method able to manage and direct urban transformation, putting together interventions that too often are spread over the city without having a chance to resonate together. It is the need for a strategic planning as the only possible way to design the sustainable development of the city as a complex organism.
