Description of the project

Summary

The idea is to transfer the knowledge I have gained throughout my Phd on Co-Hosuing and intentional community projects into the rural areas in the upper francionian region. For this I want to develop the CoLiSpa-Van, a moving consultancy that is a place for networking, events and open-air seminars.

Key objectives for sustainability

People living together have a lower carbon footprint since they can share tools they use and place they need. Furthermore is the idea to revitalize many of the abandoned houses in the rural areas and bring together people of all ages to reconecct and create a flourishing place.

Key objectives for aesthetics and quality

The van is a multifunctional experience. It transports a library concerning experinces all around Co-Housing and communal living. It hosts open-air movie nights showing documentaries of housing projects and it has a cafe equipment with foldable chairs and tables, allowing loose networking as well as vision workshops or seminars on sociocracy, inner work, institutionalizing, depending on the needs of the seeding house-projects.

Key objectives for inclusion

CoLiSpa brings together people of all ages with the desire to live in an authentic community and neighborhood, which cares for each other. By moving to the places I am going to the people instead of them coming to an event.

Innovative character

Many carry the idea of shared living in them yet most of the projects die in the early stages. I will support this process and help these projects to come to live.
