The heart of an ancient farmhouse in the Po valley, the old barn called “Casazza” open up to the community as a ductile space, a “museum of itself” and of the history that transformed it and, at the same time, a new Landscape Study Center oriented to the knowledge and conservation of the environment. Completed by a new pavilion that respects its image, the building develops on two floors connected by double-height spaces, while on the outside minimal signs renew the envelope, evoking its memory.

Ecarmin is a new Biotechnology based startup founded in April 2021 and was supported by IAPMEI Startup Voucher.

Its main objectif is to produce the red colorant E120 used in the most food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products, with a higher quality and based on European standards. 

beyondLAB is a concept of a place for many future dimensions. beyondLAB is more than a promise of urban regeneration, context revitalization or new public space. beyondLAB_Research Center focused on Urban Mobility, came from The New European Bauhaus initiative statement and its promising strategies. Also, both the concept and the proposed site(in Bucharest) complete the city`s needs. beyondLAB started as a concept for an architecture thesis project but became a purpose of a soon-to-be architect.

Project for the definition of standards and implementation of a Toolkit to create and replicate systemic events with reduced environmental impact. A pilot event will be realised in Barcelona in collaboration with the Posidonia Green Festival, focusing on promoting local culture and products through an immersive and educational experience around responsible consumption and good practices of daily living.

Bringing wool waste back to life and making living better by taking care of the acoustic and the environment. Inspired by Circular design thinking Raw Fiction Design developed a new technology processing local, natural, renewable, end-of-life material to provide a solution for an increase of indoor noise pollution with all the benefits of the natural material wool. We are driven by the idea to provide a product that is beautiful, useful and sustainable to make better places for everyone.

Sara Culture Centre houses 6 theatre stages, the city library, two art galleries and a 200-room hotel with conference centre, restaurants and spa. Combining timber tradition with modern technology and the local cultural heritage, the 20 storey project is realized with a structure entirely made of timber. Placed at the centre of town, the building opens up to become more than just a culture center, a new living room for the inhabitants of Skellefteå and a showcase for sustainable design.

The main idea for the Residential and studio building at the former Berlin flower market (IBeB), which was initiated by the architects in cooperation with a cooperative, is to offer a mix of live and work units that meets the needs of artists and creative professionals, among others. Moreover, the comparatively low land price allowed the cross-subsidisation of cooperative residential and studio spaces within the project, which can be let at a sustainable rent.

Educational Incubator of Entrepreneurship in Zdziwój Nowy and Zdziwój Stary as a way to revitalize areas displaced by the German occupier during World War II.

The old rural abandoned school has been renovated and extended with a new office part to a high standard.

The implementation not only brings a new architectural quality to the rural area, but above all is to build a place for the creation of modern companies concentrated around the economic zone.

The concept of semi-underground houses as new model for urban sustainable environment stems from the need to re-think settlement typologies. The peculiarity of this type of houses is their capacity to relate to the ground morphology by inserting in a “non-violent way” as well as their structures entirely made out of wood. The end result is a semi-underground dwelling that naturally fits to the ground in accordance with the principles of bioclimatic architecture, thus obtaining a circular shape.

ANUMANI, a mix of animals and humans, is a concept that lays the foundations of a newfound bond between man and other species. Interiors, developing like landscapes, offer users the opportunity to use their imagination and escape their usual behavioral patterns. People might find themselves working together like ants or gathering in nests like parrots. Only by experimenting with unusual points of view it will be possible to rediscover what consolidated habits have long hidden.
