The project aims to redevelop Palazzo Ducale, a historic building of architectural merit, partially disused, to improve the structure in an energetic and sustainable way while creating modern and innovative spaces for young people and to host community services. The need arose during the public listening path started in 2016 aimed at developing a strategic document (Community maps) for urban regeneration. The project is included in the territorial strategy of the Reggio Emilia Apennines.
"Cruce de Veredas" is the result of the joint effort between the City Council and various associations in a participative process to empower the local community to hightligh our roots, giving even more visibility to our garden, the Garden of Europe, which represents authentic sustainability cared for to the maximum. The lovely routes guide you through the wide heritage of Santomera, promoting a sense of belonging through significatives and enjoyables experiences in an inclusive environment.

Gorey Market House Regeneration is a transformational project for a key town-centre heritage asset that is adored by the local community & is a focal point within a bustling location. Its regeneration is deeply rooted in NEB values & principles promoting inclusion, sustainability & beauty, & its regeneration serves to restore a beating heart for the local community & wider area. Gorey Market House Regeneration will support a thriving, adaptable, inclusive, connected & loved town centre for all.
Half of the central place has been repaired. It has not been renovated for more than 40 years - the tiles and benches were broken, there was no lighting. With the reconstruction of the place, the following things has been made - a new flooring of high-pressed blocks and curbs, benches with pergolas, as well as waste bins, a children's playground. An electrical network has been completely built. Due to financial issues only half of the central place has been repaired. The other half is not.
‘El Palacete de la Arboleda’ combines traditional regional architecture with the first canning industry created in the area. This complex was in a state of neglect, waiting for an opportunity that recently arrived thanks to European funding. The recovery of the complex has required strategic planning, a participatory process involving all stakeholders and adequate funding to turn it into a transformative centre for the Vega Media del Segura area.
