Clean energy, convenient parking space, a more enjoyable place for community gatherings outdoors, and avoiding spoiling untouched landscapes: we aim for all this with our solar panel shading installation! It will be placed in a plot just outside Almócita town centre, serving as a parking lot and a more appropriate location for the village's weekly farmers market. It will also support the development of the energy community EcoAlmócita, which ensures a fair energy transition in the municipality.

Palazzo Gallina is now a lively and dynamic hub, the cultural heart of Marene. Originally a noble residence, it now houses the Municipal Library, reflecting the town's strong community spirit. Thanks to civic engagement, redevelopment works will be completed in 2025, expanding services and activities. This thriving environment fosters creativity and supports projects like “I colori del vento,” a program promoting accessible and inclusive reading.

The Santa Cruz de Ribadulla station comprised a complex of 9,000 m2, half is still used for industrial purposes . The rest comprises a series of architectural elements such as the old station house, the toilet pavilion and two cargo sheds, to which is added an old railcar loaned through the National Railway Museum. This project is a plan aimed at the recovery and enhancement of the entire railway station with the aim of making it available to civil society.

"School of Collective Care" reimagines a secondary school courtyard as a dynamic space for learning, play, and community life. Starting with a re-design that offers students a brand-new open area, the project extends beyond the school gates. A shared orchard invites locals to care for nature, while a dedicated space hosts community-led events, strengthening social ties. More than a schoolyard, it’s a place where education, sustainability, and collective belonging come to life.

Loos-en-Gohelle, a pioneering city in transition since the mine closed in 1986, is renovating its 1970s media library. The goal is to transform it into a civic third place, involving residents from the design phase. This space will bring together local initiatives, associations, and partners while hosting a storytelling area to share the city's transition experience. Open to all, it will combine culture and concrete solutions to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.

The “Old Kiln” is an example of industrial recovery, but also a place for a creative rebirth. Thanks to various regenerative interventions, this space is becoming a dynamic meeting point where urban civic spirit and social innovation thrive. Here, institutions, citizens, and third-sector organizations actively collaborate to experiment with new forms of shared management and community engagement, creating an ever-evolving ecosystem where culture, art, sociality, tourism, and economy intersect.

Ars Musica - Our Hometown Forum in Aub is about the smart and climate-friendly transformation of a historic building in the town centre into a hub for civic activities, e.g. music and arts practice and performance, and as a shared meeting point for the many associations and clubs we have. The concept of a hometown forum creates a shared identification point for citizens of all ages and backgrounds, linking the rich history of our small municipality to a positive future outlook as a smart town.

San Lawrenz has transformed from a passing point to a vibrant community hub through a holistic regeneration project. By revitalizing public spaces, restoring cultural heritage, and fostering community-driven events, the village now thrives as a sustainable and inclusive destination. With improved infrastructure, pedestrian-friendly areas, and cultural initiatives, San Lawrenz celebrates its unique identity while welcoming new generations and visitors to experience its rich heritage.

The project involves transformation and revitalization of a former tourist area and converting it into a venue for meetings and social interaction in a small mountain village. The project focuses on developing of 3 areas: a restaurant, a hall with open access and an outdoor bowling area, which together will form the village center. This initiative transforms a centuries old bishop's estate from a ruin in the middle of a village to an inclusive space at the hart of a community. By reviving the 'Mas del Bisbe' through traditional construction knowledge and local materials, we ensure that the people of Bítem can finally make use of this important architectural heritage site as a sustainable space to come together.
