Our community's environment is the shared space in which we live and we are all responsible. We must like, maintain, repair, improve the conditions to enjoy the well-being in the beauty of the environment. Even if we reach a good and very good level at a given moment, we are in an evolution that requires the continuation of saving the environment and conserving natural resources. For this reason we must continue to work and improve sustainability in a thriving village like Rășinari.

Ever wondered how beautiful it's to walk around your city, surrounded by lively shops with open doors welcoming you to experience the energy of human interactions? Now, imagine a holiday place where all the doors are closed: nowhere to buy a hot chocolate for your children or a piece of design to remind you of these restful days. Shops are at the heart of cities bringing people closer once entering the door. Let's open the doors again, this time as a wonderful open-air mall under a blue sky.

Near the medieval Castle,the 1930s Water Tower stands out for its architectural peculiarity and beauty, with a spectacular helical staircase and a large fountain animated by water features.The objective is to transform the area into an inclusive public space for cultural initiatives. After the restoration of the Tower and the large fountain, the City of Formigine will continue with the sustainable redevelopment, in order to give this extraordinary "green treasure" back to citizens and tourists.

The initiative for sustainable development of Ardino includes the revitalization of the central urban area, modernization of public spaces, energy-efficient buildings, and the implementation of green technologies. The completed projects create an accessible and aesthetic environment, stimulate cultural life with festivals and events, and ensure long-term ecological and social well-being for the residents and visitors of the town.

The word „liget” means a pleasant park, where young saplings and old trees coexist, reinforcing each other. The Liget Park Project embodies this harmony by serving as a model for intergenerational communities. It will be a modern elderly residential park, where future residents are valued members of an inclusive, compassionate and open community. The initiative is rooted in the social and environmental principles of permaculture.

The old fire station in Jakobstad was built in 1912-1913 and was bought by the town in 1926. The original meaning of the building was to house the fire brigade but also to be a place for all the town's associations. The two amateur theaters Teater Jakob and Pietarsaaren Näyttämö have been in the building since the beginning but there hasn't been room for other associations. The building is in desperate need of renovation and optimizing of spaces to increase the usage of the building.

"Spazi Comunicanti" is a community-driven project transforming two historic buildings into a vibrant, multifunctional hub for all ages. With a focus on accessibility, sustainability, and local engagement, this initiative breathes new life into a former theater, creating spaces for families, youth, and local organizations to connect, learn, and grow together. From workshops to play areas, it’s a place where history meets the future, fostering shared community care and revitalization.

The project Il Borgo del Contemporaneo aims to build a new identity for a small town in Southern Italy, starting from the exaltation of the concept of marginality as a direct experience of the place and questioning the notion of center, and focuses on culture as a central factor in the process of building the Borgo del Contemporaneo according to two assets: as a lever for territorial development on the one hand, and as a facilitator of social cohesion on the other.

Stoicheia: From Gunpowder to Green Power. This extraordinary project transforms a former gunpowder depot and its 42 barracks into a vibrant 52-hectare forest destination. Stoicheia is a vision for the future, where conservation, heritage and innovation intertwine. The Kitisenranta culture house project is not just a building: it is a community hub that enlivens our culture and brings together people from all walks of life. Culture house offers a place for learning, art and community gathering. It is a place where every resident of Lapland can find something for themselves, whether it is exhibitions, performances or self-expression through art and culture. Culture house will continue to function as the center of the world-famous Sodankylä film festival.
