My entry is a modular pavilion system created to combat against urban heat islands with multiple passive and low-consumption solutions for shading and cooling. The system adapts to different needs of the city with modular variations depending on the passenger traffic and the place of installation. The pavilions primarily serve cooling and shading, which is helped by several sustainable low-consumption and passive cooling elements.
The goal is to improve nature so that biodiversity is successfully formed in it and the impact of nearby agricultural work is reduced, for example, improving reclamation ditches to reduce the ingress of mineral fertilizers into the water catchment system. And after achieving these results, create model demonstrations of ecosystem improvement models for wider public use.
Through hands-on workshops, we bridge generations—reviving forgotten skills and blending them with modern techniques. Inspired by history, we create a space for creativity and action, from new crafts to mending and repurposing. Every restored item and sustainable choice carries a story, and every story thrives in a shared community!
RC Learn Mate is an innovative platform that combines assistive technology and education, helping children with developmental disabilities improve fine motor skills, spatial orientation, and digital competencies. Using a radio-controlled vehicle with haptic feedback, it enhances motor skills, self-confidence, and environmental awareness. Beyond assistance, RC Learn Mate enables elementary and high school students to learn programming and STEM skills through hands-on experience in technology.
The project focuses on bridging the gap between local traditions and contemporary society. Its goal is to explore regional materials and support the reconnection of local communities with the area's rich ceramic-making heritage.
The Boryspil Hub design aims to restore degraded and abandoned areas around the airport and integrate them into the urban and rural surroundings. One of the project's main goals is to use the potential of the location next to a promising transport hub between Europe and Asia and create a comprehensive proposal for the use of the territory. This proposal will represent the country on a global level and improve the quality of life of locals, who have so far suffered more from this neighbourhood.
NERA transforms sawdust waste into high-performance, 3D-printed façade panels that store carbon, enhance energy efficiency, and reduce reliance on virgin materials. By integrating material intelligence and digital fabrication, it offers a scalable, circular solution for sustainable retrofitting and new construction. These panels are lightweight, customizable, and low-impact, making buildings more resilient, beautiful, and part of the climate solution.
The project analyzes the relation of carbonate-class minerals calcite, aragonite, dolomite and hen eggshells. The chemical composition of these stones almost perfectly coincides with eggshells found in almost every person's household environment. By reloading crushed, disintegrated materials, re-mixing them and connecting them together a new environmentally friendly and aesthetically pleasant stone is created, which promotes zero-waste policy and is an alternative material for precious stones.
Creation an inclusive travelling multimedia exhibition that reveals the human dimension of migration through personal stories and interactive artistic solutions. The exhibition also includes the stories of the artists told in the performance ‘Suitcases’.
The small sustainable pyramidal windmill house with solar panels is an innovative inclusive architectural design that maximizes energy efficiency using renewable energy sources and educates the community. The pyramid shape is aesthetically pleasing and functional allowing optimal wind flow around the structure that enhances the performance of the integrated wind turbine. The sloped sides of the pyramid are used for solar panel installation, maximizing sunlight exposure and rain water collection.
