La Morada is a feminist housing cooperative under a use-transfer model, located in Barcelona. It is driven primarily by lesbian women, trans people, and other dissident identities. It emerges from the need for access to dignified and affordable housing, along with the desire to materialize alternative models for sustaining life, care, and relationships. It is a commitment to creating a way of living, and by extension, a reflection on the construction of feminist architecture and cities.

The mission of Living Places is to show the feasibility of constructing ultra-low-carbon, healthy housing using existing technologies without incurring extra costs or compromising on quality, architecture, aesthetics and indoor climate. It aims to lead the way within the building industry by showcasing in real life how rethinking building principles can address global climate and health challenges.

The exhibition "Recommitment to Paper as a Way to Salvage" explores the environmental impact of paper, highlighting the need for sustainable practices in its production and use. Through sculpture, illustration, performance, and multimedia, the show examines paper’s dual role as an artistic medium and ecological product. With installations and workshops, it encourages reflection on how small actions can lead to a more sustainable future, fostering creativity and environmental responsibility.

In a private house in a village of less than 70 inhabitants, Bottegart has already opened So’Stare, a micro-library mainly aimed at people from 0 to 16 years, to develop social issues related to integration, sharing, the recovery and dissemination of culture, to develop the critical consciousness, and serving as a liaison between the institutes of different towns in the Umbria region for training courses, teaching workshops and presentation of new educational strategies.

How do you create new valuable materials from waste streams? The Biofabrique Kantine is a hospitality area designed along material research and experimentation. It questions the exploitation of natural resources and shows an approach on how local waste materials could function in a circular construction industry. Bioregional, recyclable and adaptable make a statement for a new way of building - every building element is designed to last beyond, be it in a new form or in a different location.

The project transforms locally grown hemp into eco-friendly acoustic panels, offering a zero-waste, CO₂-reducing alternative to conventional materials. By reviving Lithuania’s centuries-old hemp industry, supporting local farmers, and reducing deforestation, we are shaping a circular economy while creating beautiful, sustainable, and functional spaces for residential, public, and commercial use, considering the sustainable design principles of the New European Bauhaus (NEB).

Ben-Essere Bernareggio redefines the relationship between people and places in the community of Bernareggio. The project fosters social connections, promotes inclusive activities, and champions well-being in the community. Rooted in a vision of holistic well-being, it offers a model for healthier, happier, and more connected communities.

Juf Nienke is a pioneering, energy-positive timber building in Amsterdam, designed for teachers and essential workers. Its striking wooden structure rises above a vibrant communal street, linking three housing blocks. Blending nature, innovation, and warmth, it fosters a healthy, connected community with lush green spaces and circular design. Storing carbon and embracing biodiversity, Juf Nienke redefines city living where sustainability and urban life go hand in hand.

Yellow Carpet is a 5 km running ring and an innovative 3D-printed outdoor gym developed in a neighborhood in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The project's objective is to create a network of exercise facilities accessible to everyone (in time, space and cost) to promote a healthy lifestyle, motivate inactive citizens to sport and stimulate the circular economy and new technology. Setting sport facilities in public spaces blends the boundaries between sports, play, culture and leisure time.

One year ago we imagined that we could choose as the pivotal theme of the regeneration of a village in the Italian Alps called Monno the relationship with the earth (soil), preserved and cared for by the community, in a residual form from an economic point of view, but central from the point of view of the sense of belonging to places.
