New Landes Residence is a revolutionary residence imagined for a small community of childhood friends in SANGUINET, Landes. The architecture takes place directly inside the pine forest and rises from the living earth. This “all purpose shelter” suggests a new lifestyle: it leads to living in a construction offering both raw nature and comfort thanks to its power management. This residence is bio sourced with FISOLAND, an insulating concrete developed with pine needles picked up in the region.

The material isolation of the Balearic Islands made its inhabitants develop their own material culture out of the island’s limited resources. This enclosed landscape gave shape to sustainable techniques that deeply align with our current search for circularity and can thus be brought into the future. Together with the Balearic Institute of Housing, we are developing a 10 social housing units scheme that updates sandstone and timber construction while taking advantage of its sustainable nature. 

The project of the Ramón Latasa square located on the left bank of the Bidasoa river as it passes through the Navarran town of Sunbilla, has transformed and regenerated a disused central area of the town, providing residents with a significant, adequate, comfortable and pleasant space as a meeting and recreational environment.

The project has brought together citizens, local artists, rural athletes and the Sunbilla City Council around the figure of the local aizkolari (log cutter) Ramón Latasa

Using polypropylene (PP) fiber reinforcement instead of steel reinforcement in concrete structures, the CO₂-emission is reduced with more than 60% on the reinforcement, while providing easier quality control, a safer work environment, and reduced working hours and cost. PPCD has developed online programs for calculating the required dosage of PP fiber reinforcement in various concrete structures. The programs are available for everyone, so we can start saving the planet together!

PLATTE.Berlin represents an authentic and interactive community where creatives, opinionleaders and multiplicators realise their projects in co-work with the stakeholders of the industry. PLATTE.Berlin aims to build a physical and digital excellence platform for sustainability and innovation.

Circuits Toy is a sustainable way of teaching children from 6 to 8 to learn components and explore the world of  electrical circuits.

Estonian Centre for Architecture (ECA) is a cultural platform for everyone who wants to experience and understand how architecture and design contribute to our lives. ECA takes action for sustainable, attractive and diverse living environment through exhibitions, tours, events, learning and networking activities, by creating space for inspiration, enjoyment and immersion. Promoter of critical (non-/peri-)urban discourse, ECA dares to surprise and provoke, while connected globally and locally.

We present a model that is easy to be inspired by and where parts can be used individually or together to take the necessary steps so that social sustainability becomes structuring in urban development. Key is mobilizing togetherness-work. We share dialogue methods and tools where the dialogue is the focus of success. Not focusing on new areas or areas in need, but all parts of the city - a proactive approach and working for what you want to achieve rather than against what you want to avoid.

MI.MOMO.FARO is an educational project which aims to meet the spirit of the Faro Convention and the local cultural strategy. It fits into the theme of cultural heritage, with a strong educational component, in which students are challenged to explore various buildings of the Modern Movement of Faro through Minecraft: Education Edition, based on an interdisciplinary vision articulated to school curricula, using new digital technologies and the game based learning method.

Fabra & Coats is a 19th century former industrial complex currently hosting more than 28,000m² of public facilities such as the Creative Factory, a nursery, a primary school, a high school, as well as spaces for community-led initiatives. Among these, the complex also includes Can Fabra, a 46-unit housing development built inside Hall G of the former industrial complex, which has preserved its exterior structure while using wood as the primary material for the new interior construction.
