The BUGA Wood Pavilion celebrates a new approach to digital timber construction. The stunning wooden roof spans 30 meters over a public event area, using a minimum amount of material while also generating a unique architectural space. The pavilion was developed by a interdisciplinary team of architects, engineers, scientists, craft and public stakeholders. Due to its innovative building system it can be fully reassembled at a new location and completely recycled at the structures end-of-life.

The concept for the Karoline Goldhofer daycare centre originates from the Reggio pedagogy applied in it, which was consciously chosen by the non-profit Alois Goldhofer Foundation that is linked all over Europe. In this pedagogy dealing with the used in a creative way and taking care of the old is essential. Therefore, the stock was carefully preserved. By activating the old house with a new shell, the natural generation of energy and circularity become part of the children’s day-to-day life.

The Reuse&Reduce collection presents different reusable and useful products to reduce single-use plastic waste in the kitchen. It offers a smart alternative to disposable plastic bags and single-use plastic containers and lids with several long lasting and environmentally safe products for your daily kitchen routine.

The NAWAREUM is the new interactive museum in Straubing. Here visitors can get to know renewable raw materials, renewable energies and solutions for the world of tomorrow without neglecting games, fun and the joy of discovery. Here complex topics from the areas of energy supply, agriculture and resource consumption are presented in an understandable and transparent manner, so that young and old can satisfy their thirst for knowledge and take numerous ideas home with them. 

The second Basque Country International Architecture Biennial, MUGAK, was held between the 10th of October and the 12th of December 2019 at different venues around the Basque Country (Spain). The Gipuzkoa branch of the College of Architects built a pavilion, in a public space, where the visitors and several organized groups had the opportunity to make a critical reflection on the future of housing.The entire process of the exhibition was documented in a video (https://vimeo.com/379952749 )

We offer new meeting and sharing spaces from premises unused by the community.

In these spaces we provide tools adapted to forgotten young people (invisible: unemployed, without training, without support) and young people with no plans to: learn by doing through the co-construction of cultural projects and discover the project approach through workshops lead by professional réferents.We are inventing devices to meet isolated populations in rural or sensitive areas (Young mobile / Project bar)

Born for the drying of tabacco and synthesis of a landscape intended for work, the ancient factory called ‘Il Castello’ is recovered for new uses, opening up to the Community as a court of collective knowledge, theater of public-private synergies aimed at regenerating the land over which it dominates. Respect for environmental values has led the intervention to develop almost exclusively inside the building, reconfigured in order to restore its semantic identity in the contemporary dimension.

Urban redensification is no longer something new. Existing building projects, however, are characterized by its unique planning process. In contrast, the aim of this work is to combine roof extension in lightweight timber construction with the potential of reproducibility on typified residential buildings from the 1950s to the 1960s in Hamburg. A fundamental modular system solution responds not only to the lack of affordable housing, but also to the massive consumption of resources and land.

The project of greenhouse in Lublin is intended to note the problem of alcoholism. The object was designed from glass beer bottles. It is unusual, cheap and ecofriendly solution.  Furthermore, it creates an interesting light effect inside of the object. The greenhouse would be a place for inhabitants of the nearest quarter of the buildings. They could grow plants here and meet other people.

The Urbach Tower is a unique wood structure. The design of the tower emerges from a new self-shaping process of the curved wood components. This pioneering development constitutes a paradigm shift in timber manufacturing from elaborate and energy-intensive mechanical forming processes that require heavy machinery to a process where the material shapes entirely by itself This shape change is driven only by the wood’s characteristic shrinking during a decrease of moisture.
