We designed the Field Guide app (also known as Guia de Campo) to support place-based learning whilst connecting children and teenagers to Azorean biodiversity. The Azorean archipelago is an isolated biodiversity hotspot that faces critical ecological challenges despite the relatively low population density. With FG, we aim to contribute to such an urgent matter through mobile interactive experiences designed to raise awareness of biodiversity loss and its implications for life on the planet.

VORA is a prototype to consolidate the temporary public spaces that have occupied streets in response to the COVID-19 crisis. It forms a limit between cars and pedestrians that can be played on and appropriated, encouraging new uses for the public spaces that have been expanded in the areas near schools. VORA builds a safe boundary between cars and these new pedestrianized spaces, where users can engage in leisure, educational and cultural activities.

Urban regeneration, civic engagement and cultural innovation. Managed by Oxa Srl Impresa Sociale, BASE is the most vibrant part of the widest culture-led urban regeneration project in Italy within the ex-Ansaldo industrial complex. BASE is the result of a unique model of collaboration between the public and private sectors. BASE is a multifunctional creative hub for cross-pollination between arts and entrepreneurship, experimenting transdisciplinary cultural practices for social inclusion.

The company "ADAMANTAN" has created a polyurethane system house in Liepaja, Republic of Latvia. Its goal and contribution was the creation of a building material for insulation - MASTER POOR SO-8 polyurethane foam. The company "ADAMANTAN" is not going to be satisfied with what has already been achieved, and is conducting research and development work on replacing one of the components of the polyurethane foam-polyol with a tall oil polyol created by the company itself.

Ventspils Music High School and Concert Hall

The total area of the building is 6883 square meters, of which 76% of the premises are intended for the needs of the school, but 24% - for the provision of the functions of the concert hall. In the Great Hall, where 600 spectators are provided, two unique musical instruments have been installed – acoustic concert organs and the world's largest vertical concert piano.

Radical Rituals is an itinerary survey along the 45ºN parallel, on the inventiveness of everyday life, new hybrid vernacular practices, and rituals that stimulate and nurture the commons across Europe, beyond identity and borders. We want to document the unsung stories of diverse local space-making initiatives and their complex networks. Through this project, we will build an open-source platform to foster collaborations between initiatives on Europe's ground.

From an old-fashioned building surrounded by traffic, to a sustainable icon embraced by nature. The Europa Congress Centre has managed to become a benchmark for sustainable architecture. To further improve the quality of life in the surroundings, the avenue where the building is located has also been transformed: more space has been given to pedestrians and green areas, and an ancient river has been recovered.

The Forest Tower in Camp Adventure Park is a new and unique experience destination. A 900 meter boardwalk connected to a 45 meter tall observation tower creates a unique opportunity to take a walk among the trees and experience the stunning nature of the preserved forest from another perspective. The tower and the boardwalk are seamlessly connected by a continuous ramp that makes the forest accessible to all - regardless of their physical condition. 

Espacioplástico is a thriving and dynamic place that offers a new way of experiencing art and culture. How is this achieved? Providing people with a space and the necessary resources to materialise their ideas, and fostering the meeting and exchange of experiences, knowledge, disciplines and projects.

How can we educate the public about topics such as climate change and nature conservation? One of the best ways is to bring people closer to nature and show the changes in our environment directly.
