Here you are an experimental project of public and social co-management including the participation of more than 1200 volunteers in a participatory construction process, among them some 600 minors, 17 social entities, 1 penitentiary centre, 3 universities and many other individuals. In just 5 months, a Social and Community Centre was built in sector 5 of the Cañada Real Settlement.

The new headquarters of the Raiffeisen-Landesbank Tirol AG "DAS RAIQA" planned to be finished in 2024 is one of the biggest building projects in Innsbruck in recent years. Not only are we trying to build a building of the future but we also want the way to reach this goal to be sustainable. Therefore, we derived the Project "Social Urban Mining in DAS RAIQA", implementing the spirit of circularity in the built environment by reducing waste, increasing recycling and re-using gathered materials.

The interactive artwork "Distances" virtually brings together people who are not able to touch themselves physically.

This artwork was born in 2020 in response to the Coronavirus crisis that forced us to be isolated and to have physical distances from the others.

In this installation, 2 persons in 2 separate physical spaces are invited to have contact virtually within the same image bringing them together face to face.

In Malmö, Sweden, a roofless ruin have been transformed into a market hall. The solution was to imitate the gable silhouette of the existing building, but only build where the conditions were right. Weathering corrugated steel provides an echo of its former industrial character.

The mobile library is a multifunctional cultural space used alternatingly by a couple of neighboring rural villages in Upper Austia. Due to its mobility the library can be placed on lively sites like the village square or in front of public schools. The library is designed to revitalize the public space in its function as a meeting place and enhance leisure opportunities. Apart from its function as a library, it can also be used as a public stage for lectures or readings.

What would happen if we removed matter from objects? Empty material develops the idea of dematerialisation as a response to the hyper-production and the lack of empathy for the environment of our time and proposes a collection of vases where the main material is emptiness.Its flower-filled interior occupies the space and appropriates the design, creating a unity between the artificial and the natural. The objects will be as changeable as nature is.When there is no matter, there is life.
 

LUSH (Landscape Urban Strategic Horizons) is an urban regeneration project. It initiates a profound transformation process to define a resilient city able to mitigate climate change and strengthen the local community. This project establishes the guidelines for Milan's sustainable development, redesigning public spaces as a source for citizens' wellbeing and interconnecting the urban center with the surrounding rural environment.

The Podcast Staden/The City has since 2013 combined architectural and planning studies, field excursions, historical research and popular culture to discuss and scrutinize urban environments of today. Dan Hallemar, journalist and urban historian Håkan Forsell visit cities in Scandinavia, Europe and in the world. The podcast involves local experts, academics, activists and architects in each city to present a multilayered representation of the urban cultural history and the built environment.

Developed by Social Action, Education and Culture Municipal Offices, Community Art Network aim was to make Arts more accessible for everyone, in particular to the most vulnerable to exclusion situations, promoting participation, enjoyment and creation, through inclusion and lifelong learning. It was implemented through a comprehensive approach including dance, music, theatre and visual arts, taking place at different stages like social housing, schools and community sites at peripheral areas.

Design represents the functional regeneration of the Kindergarten yard in Križevci. It will be a multifunctional zero waste garden where children can spend time playing and learning. The space will, besides a polygon/sport area, contain objects based on the 4R principle, such as raised garden beds made of reclaimed wood, tactile panels and a dome made of natural materials, sensory path, enclosed ‘quiet’ playspace with willow fence, wooden theme ‘houses’ with educational contents, etc.
