The Begegnungsraum is a neutral community space, a building where people from different cultures can meet and exchange ideas, where they can talk to each other, laugh, learn, discuss and help each other with problems, all within different formats and through various activities. The Begegnungsraum has been planned and realized as a self-build project through donations and is located in the city center of Stuttgart.
Moire ascent is a staircase project inspired from the harmonic streams and aetheral movements for ethical office functionality. The staircase comprises of twenty-eight ornaments made of CNC cut plywood that sprout from each step and thin out gradually upwards. This construction aims at bridging the main working space with the board room in the new architecture office “Aegean Landmark” in Athens, Greece.

Pumpkin transport is a system of shared, electric and autonomous vehicles that will be able to adapt to future circumstances and enter different modes (quarantine, night, emergency, free transportation etc.) accordingly. The algorithm will also be informed by changes in various functions of the city such as housing, education, the supply chain, work, the medical system and the manufacturing sector.
Connecting Grounds sees the value in what is, generally, considered food waste: by giving a second purpose to coffee grounds, we want to support food transition towards sustainability while creating delicious products, such as coffee oil and flour. We are a diverse team that aims to support local coffee shops while creating industrial symbiosis and educating businesses and consumers about the “hidden” food waste problem. We believe that this is a good solution for everyone.
Cities are facing major challenges as rapid urbanisation, loneliness, climate change and lack of affordable housing. Thinking to an alternative way to build and inhabit our future homes is thus crucial. Therefore the project envisions: a new circular prefab and modular concrete building structural system; an independent liveable double skin facade to launch an aesthetic of design for disassembly; a new financial model based on the concept of leasing to lower the entry point to the housing market
Pirueta de madeira is a sculpture in the landscape of Mata do Fontelo. It’s a space of spirituality and reflection. Τhe journey starts from afar as one moves towards and catches a glimpse of this dancing structure emerging from the ground. The complexities of the inner structure are not completely revealed until one bows to enter through the tiny ‘door’, evoking the nijiriguchi of the japanese tea room, a space of rituals.
With its significant social and cultural impact this building expresses a human-centered symbiosis between nature and built environment as an echo of Vitosha Mountain and Botanical Gardens.It creates a warm and friendly atmosphere in a territory with well preserved natural environment and great potential for future development.The program will gather a rich mix of generations turning the place into a new attractive location,a social center,a hub for communication and ideas,giving it a new life.

First solar collector field for district heating in Latvia and the largest one in Eastern Europe - these are our first ambitious steps to achieve climate goal - zero CO2 emissions.
