Focus Ex is a tool that helps users to read digital texts. It was primarily designed based on the needs of people with ADHD. This is the collective term for a group of neurological symptoms causing much difficulty in everyday functioning. One of the most characteristic symptoms of ADHD is difficulty to maintain focus, especially during reading. This extension helps filter out distracting factors and replaces the font settings of the target text with personalized ones, thus enhancing concentrate.

The ecovillage project in Waterloo in Belgium stems from the need to create new housing in a mixed residential area, within a park, surrounded by nature reserves. The neighbourhood aims to develop a new relationship between buildings and landscape, in which both are qualitatively reinforced. The landscape is used as a productive environment for food, energy, water, waste treatment and biodiversity. The ecodistrict envisaged a new neighbourhood with a green and eco-sustainable matrix.

Hotel Amazonas is an art initiative consisting of a residency program and pop up events, located on a mountain farm in the center of South Tyrol in Italy. Since 2012 it is experimenting with various formats to initiate temporary communities in which nature, agriculture, art and people meet at eye level and stimulate mutual awareness and sustainable exchange. The extensively run farm is a playground for the invited artists and audience and also an immersive venue for the art shows.

Since 2013 EFdeN has been helping students and young professionals find a sense of direction while providing an environment to apply their creative energy through a trial and error process. Facilitated by the Solar Decathlon competitions, we have attempted to be at the forefront of everything related to sustainability, from law & policymaking to education and development of our cities. Briefly: 10+ projects implemented with 600+ volunteers, 50+ awards, 300+ partner companies involved.

We create light with light. Our Sunseeker is a solar powered (street-)light installation which behaves just like you. Seeking for the sunniest spot it charges energy as much as possible. The light fixtures move over the line and around their axes & in the evening they move back to their fixed spot and interact with animals and people passing by. It provides a different connection to sustainability. Dynamic and poetic lighting designs that trigger amazement and imagination. 

Stone Oven House is the artistic residency in Italian Alps born to inspire all the community. Here there is no real border between everyday life and art. Here artists learn by necessity to build dry stone walls according to the ancient technique and to new functions. Developers try to find the connection between rural projects, art and crypto currency. Curators redefine the function of contemporary arts. Plumbers rethink bathroom aesthetics.

The Deployable Water Prototypes alleviate the disastrous effects in the underground water produced by intensive farming in “The Plastic Sea”(Almeria, Spain).

By collecting and transferring water from the air and fog to the land, and including new housing and production systems; the DWP envisions a new sustainable, healthier and more inclusive agriculture model that recovers the dried aquifers while improving the interspecies relationships and the care for the environment in productive areas.

Manége is a collective that has no fixed form, and functions more like a community that gathers and promotes itself and its immediate periphery through varying creative manifestations. Manége thus accommodates both different individuals and different subgroups depending on the project being worked on. 

The futuristic and Austria’s first climate-neutral Campus of Vienna University of Economics and Business is a living quarter for everybody, a hub for education, business and leisure. Thanks to our smart co-developing method URBAN MENUS the variety of interests could be successfully merged in a joint vision and reality. Our success key: On the one hand guiding by structured impact-thinking, and on the other hand providing a space for true co-creation instead of big pseudo participation.

The Gartener is the platform that connects creative and entrepreneur people to collaborate on projects of the future. Our goal is to create unseen projects by the union of transdisciplinary talents. It's a mix of Creative Dinners, spaces to meet people from different ages and profiles to discuss about ideas; and the App, the platform to put as much creative entrepreneurs as possible in contact letting them collaborate.
