Venn: a mathematical symbol for shared/equal exchange aims to blur traditional conventions when designing for dementia, alluding to techniques and answers found in the relationships between you&me; then&now; able&sensitive; history&memory. This logic; uncovered in the conceptual development of Venn, is coupled with ideas for sustainability, therapeutic environment and typology of use. Environment informs architecture; architecture informs environment. You inform me; I inform you.

Due to its particularities, the construction of the daycare center and primary school BEI DE KUEBEN counts among the special buildings in Luxemburg during the last years: The whole concept is characterized by sustainable considerations, ecologically as well as economically and socially. Regional materials such as wood, straw, clay or sheep's wool have been used in a contemporary way. The natural building environment contributes to teaching children a sustainable way of life.

The climate crisis and the continuous development of transport will make the number of immigrants grow. Currently, most countries do not have a developed policy of accepting and integrating immigrants with the local population, which increases social tensions and marginalization of the newcomers. "PoII" will create comfortable conditions for social interactions. The Locals will learn about the culture and customs of the immigrants, and the immigrants will learn to live in a new society.

"TOTEMS" A BOX WITH THE SIZE OF A PERSON WITH ECRAN WITH SIMULTANEOUS DIRECT LIVE VIDEOS FROM ALL EUROPE IN PUBLIC PLACE

Our complex urban environments require flexible designs that can handle multiple functions simultaneously and make their surrounding flourish. Blue Green Grey System is nature-based technology for designing multifunctional spaces where elements like Blue (water) Green (vegetation) and Grey (hard surfaces) are integrated in the same area and volume. The result is a more beautiful, healthy and climate-resilient urban environment that is better prepared for future challenges.

PhiTOilet is ecological, beautiful and accessible-to-all:

based on phytodepuration, it's autonomous from sewer;

it's flexible, it adapts its aspect using on site materials to perfectly integrates with various surrounding landscapes;

it's inclusive and accessible-to-all due to Universal Design principles, removes obstacles which, even today, negatively affect the daily life of millions of EU citizens with disability

it's modular and economical both in implementation and management.

"Casa sul Parco" is a new housing complex that replaced an abandoned  building in the centre of Fidenza next to the central park of the town. The intervention accomodates 10 housing units in the most sustainable way with a particular attention to the surrounding context and its delicate heritage. Avoiding a conservative approach, "Casa sul Parco" introduces innovative technolgies and architectural solutions integrating the sustainability with the esthetic quality of the modern architecture.

This project aims to develop a night-time strategy in Milan through the organisation of a night-time conference. Such an event would launch the discussion among the key stakeholders and create the basis for the creation of ad hoc working groups to finally create an strategic action plan.

This project represents the attempt to make Milan more attractive, sustainable, efficent and - last but not least - more beautiful at night. 

Man-made spaces regeneration must result from complex processes. Thanks to specific ecological solutions, which arise between bureaucratic waiting times and the dynamics of construction site management, it is possible to create spaces where urban development coexists with natural processes. We propose a new solution for the creation of ecosystems in unresolved spaces in cities, which improves the quality of the areas, setting an example for the management of transformation of construction sites.

At its core, ProtoArchitecture advocates for a conceptual pivot towards an architecture that anticipates and exploits change as an operative device and time as a co-evolving mechanism of architecture to acknowledge the actual conditions of buildings as they change over seasons, years, decades and extraordinary events.
