Dear Europeans, attention please! Club loko is not a new nightclub, but a young initiative that works on urban co-creation at local level - in the neighbourhood. For this, we are developing the lokomobil: a ‘kiosk’ that will function as a place where neighbours can meet and interact. The accessible mobile tool generates space and offers infrastructure for workshops and events. Soon the lokomobil will tour through Munich and make its debut as a field for experiments and bold local approaches!

The Citizenship Theatre has been active in Venice for ten years in the streets, hotels, museums, private houses, prisons, studios and theatres, involving institutions and citizens of all generations who, with their personal histories, participate in the regeneration of the city and the community, through theatre. The recent theme to be explored, staged this year, is Utopia and the ideal city, opening up new perspectives to re-think reality, in a time in which everything truly can be re-written.

In de buurt Jerusalem in Nijmegen realiseert woningcorporatie Talis 220 duurzame, aardgasvrije houtskeletwoningen op een bestaande fundering. Dit is indrukwekkend, want we doen dit op een innovatieve manier. Voor het aardgasvrij van de woningen maken we gebruik van beproefde technieken die nog niet op deze manier zijn toegepast. De installatie bestaat uit acht zonnepanelen, twee zonnecollectoren voor een zonneboiler en een elektrische doorstroomboiler.

affected by climate change, the project is the result of a dialogue between innovative
technologies and traditional methods, guided by sustainability and reduction of CO2 emissions.

residencies, guest house and a spa/hammam for locals and visitors.

Studio Boot and C-mone built a ‘Gesamtkunstwerk’ with designers, craftmen and people distanced form the labour market to capture the creativity and activity of the area and share it with the city.

The Menger sponge is a fractal object having zero volume and an infinite surface. Sponges similar to these (the algorithm cannot be applied indefinitely), extremely porous and light, can be created at low cost; they could be modular, easy to compress and transport.
These structures can be the skeleton of buildings and objects in which liquid substances will be poured and solidify in any shape.
They would be resistant to vibrations and wind like branches and roots of trees, which are also fractal

Risacca is a line of fashion and sustainable design products ethically produced,born from the regeneration of fishing nets. Community products, made by fishermen and artisans, which activate processes of reuse and recycling of discards from the fishing industry and of plastics recovered from the sea, making new opportunities for young people and craftsmen and regenerating the social and cultural fabric by creating a sensitive community that participates in the protection of the marine ecosystem.

City museums are a very specific kind of museums which have a position between cultural and urban policies, and have a huge potential to create knowledge and heritage, social and cultural cohesion of metropolises. THE CITY MIRROR rethinks the city and its history from from the old town to the contemporary outskirts. THE CITY MIRROR has created an innovative knowledge centre in its core and new cultural nodes in an urban network where history, heritage and citizenship meet together in 15 places.

Formerly a military barracks, the Caserne de Reuilly became a property of the City of Paris. As an urban planner on its own behalf, Paris Habitat began in 2013 to develop this ambitious urban project delivered last year. In the context of a highly urbanized city, the Reuilly Barracks now houses affordable and social dwellings, a student residence, a nursery, gardens, and commercial activities. A new neighborhood out of this previously inaccessible area emerged from this transformation.

The Adriano Community Center (ACC) arises in the context of the Adriano district, a suburban neighborhood in the city of Milan. There, Proges - an important cooperative working in the field of social services - acquired a former home for the elderly hosted in a vast building, entrusting to Shifton an ambitious project: transforming the building into a place open to citizens and deeply interwoven with the social fabric of the neighborhood.
