Rumita is a project of transformation, resistance and enhancement. We have launched a project of recovery wools from a territory suffering from depopulation. In this area the wool is considered a special waste: shepherds have to pay for its disposal. So we started to recovered wool. We produced a yarn, we dyed the yarn with natural colors and we started to produce rugs designed by young designers. We work manually with vertical looms.
NaturalMente is a project of building renovation in a spirit of circularity, approved and started in July 2020. It interests the Cascina Sella Nuova and it operates within the broader plan of the Municipality of Milan to promote and rationalize energies and practices active in the city, through the establishment of a "system of farmhouses in Milan", in which these become the epicenters of larger, external and inside the city to promote new agriculture, culture and wellness, culture and wellness.
Ideas Garden is an urban garden located in one of Vilnius post-soviet microdistricts (Pilaite). Born as and still existing as a voluntary initiative, the urban garden aims to empower the local community by making them active agents of local urban life. The growing garden community cultivates not only vegetables but also sharing, eco-lifestyle, diversity and learning. With its raised beds, compost and picnic table, Ideas Garden has become one of the top attraction sites of the neighbourhood.
The BIQ in Hamburg is the world’s first building integrating living micro-organisms to absorb carbon and generate solar thermal heat. The building features 129 glass panels to cultivate microalgae on the south facing façades. The residents and the microalgae live in a symbiosis and co-habitation. The building feeds the algae with carbon emissions and minerals, while the algae absorb carbon through photosynthesis and provide heat and high-quality biomass back to the building.

Wood Studio Scale 1:1 is a fifth-year subject of the ETS of Architecture of Barcelona, UPC. It is an international design studio course that aims to introduce wood as a subject of permanent study in the field of architectural projects linking the university with industrial companies and local and international experts, and at the same time considers the current residential and emergency climatic needs, through the design and construction of a livable module made entirely of wood.
