Harinera ZGZ is a community culture project based on public-community governance in which the public administration, the local community and cultural and social stakeholders co-manage cultural production through an assembly open to participation. Its central objective is the promotion of the right of access to culture in all its dimensions: that any person, regardless of their conditions, can not only consume, but also produce and decide their own culture.
From September 20 to October 1, 2023, for the first time "FRAGILE - Festival for young changemakers" took place in Wuppertal, an international festival for young DanceMusicTheater on perspectives of sustainability. FRAGILE presented exciting productions around the themes of ecological, economic and social sustainability - for young people and for an intergenerational audience from 0 - 99. We offered space for exchange, experience, encouragement, to get into action - we need global empathy!
The goal was to create a welcoming entrance point for the vast SNRC area. The design is rooted in typical industrial architecture featuring large spans and raw, visible construction. In contrast to this, modern details such as frameless glass partitions add a contemporary touch. The building is a blend of an industrial structure and a high-tech lounge/exhibition hall. The steel used in the construction pays homage to the company's history and emphasizes Stena Recycling's focus on circularity.

Maglicgrad is a self-sustainable commune set at the site of a historical Maglic castle. It is bound together by the Maglicgrad cultural center, bringing a new dimension to what used to be a forgotten town separate from the rest of the world by the River Ibar.
The beginning of the project was in 2016, when the organization "BMX Ādaži" received a plot of land from the local municipality for free use, where once there were wastewater treatment facilities. Several sports enthusiasts and supporters, wanting to realize their dreams and those of many children, gradually transformed this undeveloped piece of land into a place where local children and youth can come, play sports, and gather, but the local community can implement joint activities.
Purteka. Gardening for Children, is a nature-learning space that engage children in practice how to plant starting from seeds and a collaborative place-base approach to community engagement. It creates gardening kits for children, and provides handmade gardening tools, produced by local old artisans and craftsmen. By using a small gardening-truck, Purteka organizes activities and workshops with other actors of local economies.
