Shimmering wood monomaterials are created through interdisciplinary research between design and material science. In the project, we create shiny and iridescent colors entirely from wood. This color is nontoxic and produced in an economically viable process. Shiny or glittery effects – very popular in design today – are usually created using toxic pigments, plastic-based materials, or metallic foils. This structural color presents a sustainable alternative to these traditional colorants.

"The Culture Factory" project began in 2007, with the production of "Faust", directed by Silviu Purcărete. The show was staged in an unconventional space: a disused factory in Sibiu. After its resounding success , we have set out to create more heritage productions, namely: "Lulu", "Metamorphoses" and "The Scarlet Princess". Today, The Culture Factory owns the entire area of halls and aims to develop into the largest cultural and performing arts research centre in Central and Southern Europe.

Choirs for Ecocide Law is an artistic choral project, whose main purpose is to spread awareness about the need to add an international law on natural destruction (Ecocide Law) to the Rome Statute.
Choirs for Ecocide Law offers a tool for singers to act in their own community via singing and provides a sixty minute pop-music concert program, "Let us change the rules!", ready to be rehearsed and performed
by any choir in the world – for free. The project has been created for free, voluntary.

The Wall2Water is an innovative Nature-based Solution installed in a small town in Sicily for reducing the water use of a school, replacing drinking water with non-conventional water, and regenerating the urban space. The Green Wall provides a high aesthetic impact that creates the conditions for engaging the young generation to build together a sustainable and inclusive future. A short film translated this journey of nurturing eyes, minds, and souls using cinematic language.

The NEBedu project is an educational paradigm of good practice for embedding the principles of the New European Bauhaus in higher education institutions. The educational experiences expand from the classroom to campus to open public spaces to the society. Art, sciences, literature, modern design and aesthetics are combined in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary ways aiming to reconnect the modern citizens of today and tomorrow with nature.

The Forbidden Garden of Europe hosted a garden of ‘invasive alien plant species’. They have been listed for their ethnic and biological characteristics and pose a threat to European native species. The European legislative act of 2016 instated a list of 35 invasive plant species which are to be eradicated and banned from European soil. The studio questioned this European legislation to provoke the discussion on whether spatial, legal and social restrictions contribute to a more inclusive society

A new lab in Manzano, Italy, the Innovation Platform Ecodesign & Sustainability is a cultural and social operation triggering a process of suburb regeneration by involving future talents, designers, companies, authorities and the local community. A wide space connected with nature open to exhibitions, events and forums on sustainability and ecodesign. Its goal is to open a place-based path to connect wood and furniture companies, mountain and urban areas to discuss locally on global challenges.

Immersive biological spaces are our specialty at Biotope Hub, an organization that unites designers of biological objects, biologists, endangered species specialists, technologists, landscape designers, biotope scenography designers and contractors, graphic designers, and managers. We carry out biotope projects in various forms, across different countries, for a range of investors and biological startups.

'Discovering the Aquifer' is a pioneering two-year school program promoting interdisciplinary learning on water management and sustainability. Engaging students, teachers, and the entire school community in monitoring and safeguarding groundwater. Through collaborative efforts, we empower participants with tools to comprehend aquifer dynamics, climate pressures, and adaptation strategies. Join us on this educational journey towards sustainable practices and a resilient future.

".CAD" - Camp and Design was an event hosted by Belish Residence. The residence is an alternative education center for design, architecture, arts, and crafts. A hub for creativity encouraging the birth of new communities. A place where inspiration meets collaboration.
".CAD", attracted 70+ participants engaged in 10 day workshops, fostering collaboration and sense of belonging. The festival included residence exploration, craft workshops, and communal living, exemplifying shared experiences.
