Demographic change is challenging the sustainability of care systems. Integrated care is presented as a broad framework to help people get the care they need, maintain continuity and transition of care as their situation evolves, and enable them to develop their life and care plan within their community. Usurbil is a pioneering project for the implementation of this care ecosystem, which has enabled the development of a new concept of nursing home in a co-design process.

The comprehensive renovation project of Can Vidalet Market is a transformative initiative for the community, with the aim of reclaiming the Market's role as the focal point of the Can Vidalet neighborhood, both socially and economically, as well as culturally. This has been achieved by following a quadruple-helix model throughout the process, resulting in the development of a project that is not only inclusive but also representative of the city, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable.

The Calwer Passage in Stuttgart's city heart underwent a comprehensive transformation: introducing lush greenery into the cityscape while preserving the heritage-listed building sections.
The greening of facades and rooftops establishes a high-quality urban space with a natural, healthy climate. The rich diversity of species generates a vibrant and ever-changing appearance. Architecturally distinctive, this pioneering project significantly enhances the resilience and sustainability of the city.

Open Borders for Wildlife in the Carpathians contributed to effective protection of biodiversity in the Carpathian Ecoregion by maintaining and improving ecological connectivity between habitats and maintaining ecosystem services as the cornerstone of sustainable development.
Project area is one of the most important global repositories of natural wealth.
The project targeted preservation of common natural values on a landscape level, demolishing the negative effects of borders on habitats.

Project shows wood as a sustainable building material with high visual, tactile and olfactory comfort and overall positive contribution to the well-being of users, but connected with many stereotypes dealing with the maintenance and hygiene of surfaces. To disprove them, there were developed inspirational interdisciplinary case studies: human-centred spatial interventions in Slovak healthcare facilities, starting with the waiting area at the National Oncological Institute in Bratislava.

Someș Delivery is a project that challenges and tests the community's ideas for the reintegration of Someș into the life of the city of Cluj-Napoca. Thought in the long term, the project approaches a different segment of the river every year, on which it intervenes from a multidisciplinary, architectural-urban, cultural-artistic, multimedia, community and environmental protection perspective.
Someș Delivery is a form of recognition and celebration of the importance of rivers for communities.

Amazing Amazon of Europe project created a responsible green destination within the first world UNESCO 5-country Biosphere Reserve Mura-Drava-Danube. The unique destination was developed fully in line with NEB principles. Joint strategy and 3 bookable tourism products were elaborated with participation of 350 multi-sector organisations and 150 SMEs. Valorisation of the heritage via tourism opportunities has resulted in sustainable development of the area for better quality of life of citizens.

PETAL is a playful kinetic structure, assembled from simple deck chairs in a cylindrical arrangement, that mirrors the changing appearance of a flower between day and night. During the day, the structure appears “in full bloom” when the sun loungers are opened up to provide access to a 360 degree cafe bar and social seating area. At night, the chairs collapse to form a screen for color or graphic projections - a sculpture in the night awakening curiosity among visitors and passers by.

Aiming to start a dialogue about the region’s intelligent and sustainable landscape use, the TÁJTÉKA project took place on the Balaton Uplands between 2021-2023, in the framework of the VEB 2023 ECoC program, managed by the Hungarian Contemporary Architecture Centre (KÉK). Besides publications and an online database of local good practices, we also organized various events with local communities to engage them in developing ways to shape the region’s future with a shared sense of purpose.

“A Vila do Mañá” is an educational and action project, whose main challenge is for children/adolescents to be actively present in the construction processes of the common space. The project arises from the right to the city, whereby the people who live in it have the right to enjoy it, to transform. It gives a voice to those who normally do not have it, promoting their right to be part of an active citizenry, since "protagonist participation" is encouraged with the art and architecture as tools.
