Through the Pace e Bene Onlus Foundation he created, Master Lazzarini is demonstrating that change is possible and small, coordinated, daily gestures are enough to make the difference.
The Birdway is a sustainable urban project in Tartu, designed to enrich urban biodiversity and add visual interest to the community. It contains 12 Bird nesting spots for different species. By creating a birdshelter on top of a walkway this installation blends seamlessly together urban and natural environments.
RE-SOURCING COMMONS by Social Design Vienna challenges non-sustainable standards in urban design routines. It uncovers hidden potentials of material circularity considering social dimensions using the example of the participatory redesign of a Viennese public park. The project demonstrates internationally transferable approaches to narrow the circularity gap through integrating previously overlooked (im)material resources of the city into a modular, repairable and (socially) sustainable system.
After the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion in February 2022, a group of Kharkiv activists started an NGO ‘Through the War’. We delivered food and medicine to the elderly and the disabled who had to face the war alone. Some of them required full-time care. We found an old dormitory, refurbished it to a livable condition and brought our first ‘residents’ there. This was the beginning of ‘Velyka Rodyna’ project. Now we are sheltering 50 senior citizens - giving them a home and a hope!

This is why we created the One Click LCA Academy where we upskill thousands of professionals on how to decarbonise buildings, infrastructure and products. In 2023 to date, 13 460 individuals have educated themselves in our platform. We aim to train 1 million by 2030 to power the makers of a zero carbon future.
