Urban Bloom transforms waste into a resource by developing biodegradable mycelium-based packaging embedded with pollinator-friendly plant seeds to regenerate urban ecosystems. By using agricultural by-products and invasive plants, it replaces plastic, reduces waste, and restores biodiversity. More than just packaging, Urban Bloom integrates nature, science, and circular economy principles to create greener, more sustainable cities.

PopUp Kitchen is a mobile kitchen attached to a bike designed to engage neighborhoods in Utrecht through cooking. Using food as a conversation starter, we aim to gather data on community sentiments and social dynamics, tackle loneliness, and foster social cohesion. The project explores the connection between Alta Val Bormida's cycling network and its castles, aiming to reuse them. The work focused on the Castle of Bardineto identifies four project-related issues: accessibility to the castle, plant engineering to preserve ruins, visual integration, and functional distribution. These issues are addressed through historical analysis, revealing layers from a Celtic calendar, medieval military use, Roman urban planning, and the site’s role as a defense system.

In Matera in 2021 was born the “Artigianato Solidale” Workshop (Oltre L’arte): a regenerated space begin a social hub where 9 kids with down syndrome, hired in the social cooperative, work every day with 4 social animators to realize small and big works of art made of papier-mâché and terracotta, typical of the local tradition.
