"School of Tomorrow"

Understanding schools as a basic principle of social coherence was of fundamental importance to those in charge. The new school campus in brings together several schools previously scattered across different districts.

The careful approach to this alpine landscape and the scale in relation to the neighboring rural structure makes the project appear modest, yet self-confident. The school campus is designed as a flat, terraced, walkable green educational carpet.

The project addresses the topic of pollution caused by the pandemic and encourages a critical, creative debate.

The toothbrush is entirely 3D printed from “recycled mask filament”.

Choosing this rather complicated and difficult manufacturing process, shows the suitability of the material for other recycling approaches to be implemented in the future.

36 Citizens in the city of Nijmegen (The Netherlands) who live in an old monastery build themselves a community green water infiltration and rainwater harvesting system. Kopf hoch 2020
An old building from Munich‘s former airport has long languished unused and moldy on the edge of a new development. Artist Michael Lapper and the KopfbauT initiative are bringing the building out of its slumber. Together with citizens of the district, they are turning the building into a lively cultural and civic urban laboratory in the cultural project „Kopf hoch 2020“ (Cheer up 2020!).

It combines modern technologies to design and produce green roof structures which integrate all the essential functions and are made only out of rPET, an accessible material with a circular lifespan. You Tell Me is a collective of students and young architects working on a paradigm change in the field of construction. The change in mindset is promoted through activism, thematic projects and regular meetings called "evening schools". Evening schools are a platform for peer learning and knowledge sharing. Students, practicing architects and experts from various fields get together and share ideas and best practices. The topics have ranged from post humanism to economy and ethics of architects.
