iV-GO ends the dependence on hospital beds and drop racks to receive iV-treatment, allowing treatment on the go, in hospital or in the patient’s own home - even outdoors, promoting independence, dignity and mobility. Even with a full bag of liquid, iV-GO weighs less than a laptop shoulder bag. It is fully developed, tested and validated by doctors, nurses and patients, compellingly designed and easy to use, encouraging patients to move, reducing treatment costs and the length of hospitalization.

To innovate, projects must be extended beyond conventional boundaries. Since 2016, HABITER2030 is a unique platform to implement multidisciplinarity by bridging the gap between students, teachers, researchers, and those involved in the planning and construction and use of the built environment

The HABITER2030 team won the Solar Decathlon Europe 2019 international competition with innovative solutions to massively renovate houses from the industrial era

We now apply our approach to new project

Create new geographies of association by providing affordable housing supply and high quality living conditions in european cities, such as Rome, illustrates the purpose of this collective living project. Combining green productive activities, in order to mobilize local socio-ecological knowledge, with adaptation of eco-friendly building techniques and integration of green design solutions, aims to introduce a new urban model of built and natural co-evolution, which implies long-term resilience.

MaDe (Material Designers) is a competition, event series and platform devoted to realising the positive impact material designers can have across all creative sectors. Material Designers are agents of change: they can creatively develop techniques, materials and processes for construction and design, implementing positive social, economical, political and environmental change across all sectors towards a responsibly designed future. MaDe is a project co-funded by Creative Europe Programme.

The experimental findings towards the perception of cultural artefacts opens up a new possibility for architects, evidence based emotion design. Knowledge ideal for creating artefacts that address directly to our dispositions that were developed during the on going process of co-evolution between mankind and its culture.

Architecture is a tool for democracy. At the Municipal School of Architecture in Borlänge, children and young people learn about both the physical environment and the community building process. The School of Architecture is free and available to anyone who wants to.The goal is not to turn everyone to architects, but to establish the right of every child to freely express her or his views, in all matters affecting her or him, which the built environment do.

Dipdii Textiles are crafted out of local textile traditions. This is a cooperation between Germany and Bangladesh that aims to get the best out of both worlds. The raw material of this project are torned blankets made out of old saris. In our hands these fabrics gain another life. Instead of expending resources, they are crafted with time, skills and creativity. With German designs and Bangladeshi crafts, a beautiful wear solution out of the ordinary is generated.

This project has been a fantastic opportunity to reintroduce nature to the heart of Barcelona. The Xifré Rooftop is a dual purpose renovation project, in terms of both architecture and ecology. Covering an early 19th-century block of ten buildings, this contemporary roof garden creates a “floating” wild space that enhances urban biodiversity and opportunities for social interaction between neighbours. Furthermore, the rooftop elements of the historic building have been carefully restored.

We want to offer a new perspective on how we can take on the fight against plastic waste pollution. With one of Europe's largest 3D printers, the Bloft Mk2, we are making distributed plastic recycling by additive manufacturing coming true. The huge scale of the printer, combined with speed and the possibility to process shredded plastic waste enable a whole new window of opportunities for designers and architects to come up with new, beautiful and sustainable solutions.

The Kata lounge unites traditional craftsmanship and soft technology.

It takes inspiration from artisan-made wood and woven straw chairs but re-imagines the typology using contemporary, sustainable solutions in an expression that’s both graphic and warm.

Kata is designed with sustainability at its core and made locally.
A FSC certified wood frame supports a soft 3D textile made from post-consumer recycled polyester. The textile is custom knitted without leftovers - a material reduction of 30%.
