VENTO is a territorial project threading its way through the cycling-pedestrian infrastructure that will run along the banks of the river Po from VENice to Turin [TOrino]. Project VENTO was conceived at Politecnico di Milano, Department of Architecture and Urban Studies in 2010 by a research team working on sustainable territorial planning to propose a concrete and viable development option in response to the fragile situations of the marginal areas around Italy’s largest river valley.

Social Score is the first interactive, participatory and location-based augmented audio experience that can be played directly in the browser. The fictious AI "AVA" negotiates the potential introduction of a social scoring system in Germany by sending the listeners on a personalised journey in their surroundings.

3 buildings in Munich’s center were saved from certain demolition and rehabilitated on a tight budget thanks to the work of many volunteers. „hirner & riehl architects“ developed the concept for the cultural center doubling as an apartment building for refugees in dialog with residents as they were forming an association. The firm’s architectural mission: to preserve the possibilities and qualities offered by the existing structure while making highly efficient use of available resources.

The Oohbike electric bicycle is a mobility and sustainability product that has been designed and thought in order to be an innovative product by presenting a hubless front wheel without spokes.

Our multigenerational co-housing project is situated in Hasendorf (= Bunny Village).

Our vision is to live today as we all will need to live by 2050.

And we want to show: Hey, we can actually have a GOOD LIFE while respecting the carrying capacity of our Planet. One key for that is sharing. Thus, we decided to have fully functioning but smaller individual flats and pool our resources on generous but still affordable shared spaces.

MaxAcht sets new standards for the building of tomorrow: CO2-neutral creation paired with a socially affine and flexible living space design. Buildings in the future will need more than just energy-efficient operation- Re-use and recycling scenarios must also be considered so that resources remain available for future generations. MaxAcht already gives solutions for today´s problems in building. Initiative and responsibility become the driving force behind change.

FILMEETING was born thanks to a group of young people between 18 and 25 years old, whose passion for cinema has made them decide to found a cultural association. Innovation in the hybridisation between events with spectators and digital promotion, green and carbon neutral approach, quality and art movies: these are the three key aspects to think back to some events in the area. We want to promote a new way to communicate and add value to culture searching for new audiences.

Gathering as individuals and receive the performance silently and politely sitting on chairs, or gather as a community and participate actively in the sufi ritual and follow the path of the concentric circles from microcosm to macrocosm: two different ways to be together and to listen to music, two different rituals. My goal is to combine both worlds in order to build a new, third space for their communities.

The project develops and applies an innovative education model that is testing participatory tools for empowering communities to accelerate the green transition and co-create shared places in a form of an urban experiment. Green common spaces of residential neighbourhoods evolve into collective spaces for critical thinking and creative testing with students and local community. The education-exploration and co-design prototype is a generative solution and adaptable for different European sites.
