Tejiendo la calle is space for cooperation in a rural community. It transforms the streets of the town with light weaved structures as sunshades. The project is done mostly by eldery women who retain and share textile crafts that are being lost. They reuse plastics to crochet the pieces. They generates shadows for the summer with an atmosphere of celebration. They show their affections, wishes and memories. They change every year, and hangs like the clothes between the balconies of the houses.

The house from 1946 was nearly ready to be demolished. In order to create a sustainable extension and improvement in comfort, we decided to do a full renovation.

With a maximum re-use of existing elements and the use of new sustainable materials, we created a highly energy efficient home.

Throughout the entire house we used recycled beach wood for al structural and furniture elements. 

The use of thermoelectricity in buildings represents a disruptive alternative for indoor thermal needs as it is a technology that allows the elimination of refrigerants. In this line of research, authors of this study have worked on the design and construction of several Ventilated Active Thermoelectric Envelope (VATE) prototypes.

Our project aims to integrate sustainable materials - liquefied wood - and processes - circular economy - in the core of the surfing industry, promoting more responsible consumer trends in respect to the relationship with nature, by means of an inclusive sport, with worldwide visibility: surfing.

MeetShareDance feszival aims to promote best practice in the field of inclusive arts practices and to foster an International Dance Network for individuals and groups working with dance and disability. It offers those interested in dance, movement and inclusive arts practices, the opportunity to experience, support and contribute to this emerging field, connects local communities with international professionals and provides long term, affordable  and inclusive activities open to all citizens.

Challenge: convert a vacant territory inside Conde Ferreira Mental Health Center (est.1883) composed by an ancient rural complex into a home for a nonprofit organization - Pony Club Porto Solidarity Association. The Therapeutic Equine Center serves individuals with special needs through equine-assisted activities. Ruins became the conceptual starting point. New buildings are a completion of what time took away. An architecture of inclusion embodying the values of social cohesion and integration.

FOGGY IS A INNOVATIVE TTECHINQUE

The EUROPA light installation spells the word EUROPA by 33 neon lights and was initiated by morePlatz in 2016 shortly before the Brexit referendum. The project acts as a strong sign for the European values of solidarity, tolerance and openness and illuminates future tasks for Europe such as climate change and renewable energies. It started in Berlin at St.Agnes in 2016 and within the course of 4 years, was brought to 12 different locations in Bochum, Essen, Nürnberg, Hamburg and Chemnitz so far.

The New Italian Blood MasterLab programme is a living prototype of the New European Bauhaus.
We approach education, participation, design and construction through interdisciplinary collaborative, bottom-up strategies.
Since 2013, together with local stakeholders, we apply our knowledge to regenerate common and confiscated goods from mafias.
Our venue is the Salerno ferry terminal by Zaha Hadid, a multi-use inclusive building. We offer fellowships to young designers, sociologists & artists.
