Corporeal Architecture is a teaching method taught in partnership with ACE, the Center for Education of ANFA - the Academy of Neuroscience for Architecture, with the aim to apply integrated knowledge from Performance Art and Neuroscience in the design curriculum. The design projects are built with waste material, found objects or/and by appropriating spaces in the city or nature. The resulting lectures, performances, installations and conversations are available to the public on YouTube.

Multiple awarded startup, Costa Nostrum, was established, with the purpose of promoting and implementing the private protocol “Certification Standard for Sustainable Management and Development of the Mediterranean Beaches – Costa Nostrum Sustainable Beaches”, through the effect of which the sustainable management and development of each beach may be achieved in an objective manner and succeeding to “convert” a simple beach, into a worldwide top destination, with a sustainability certification.

Starting 2 years ago with the idea of establishing a community around a sustainable and organic production of food, we create a collective farm, a cooperative of more than two hundred members and associates.

We self-produce food in our large garden (5 ectares), deciding in advance together what, how and how much to plant. Every week we divide the vegetables equally among us. We collectively cover the production costs, without selling anything outside.

Freeboxes are places where you can bring items that you no longer need yourself, but which are too good to throw away. On the one hand, a Freebox becomes a place where environmental awareness and sustainability are lived, but on the other hand it also becomes a meetingpoint of responsible and inclusive neighborly togetherness: here the principle of equality and low-threshold access applies to everyone - regardless of origin, income, educational background, age, gender or religious background.

The ERA (Active Rural School) project revitalises rural schools in order to connect them with their environment and community. The proposed activities integrate different social agents and work around the natural, cultural and material heritage to put it at the service of pedagogy with the aim of offering a public and quality education that takes place in the open air and dignifies rural lifestyles. Regenerating Villa Fortuna is an experimental project which spreads over 22ha of hilly land in San Salvatore Monferrato (Piedmont, Italy); it seeks to bring life back to a land left barren by decades of intensive farming, through eco-efficient regenerative agriculture and sustainable agroforestry techniques. The Academy offers state approved continuing vocational education and training (CVET) for skilled craftspeople from various fields to be a DESIGNER IN THE SKILLED CRAFTS. Within 1.200 hours architects and designers teach them how to transfer and apply design strategies into crafts. Thus they conceptualise ideas for daily life. Sustainable materials and ideas of universal design are the foundation for their products. As a result, the students contribute improved concepts to our cultural heritage.
