Reuse. Reduce. ReCapture. By integrating reuse into the design process, White ReCapture enables reuse on a larger scale in a time and cost-effective way. Using 3D laser scanning, an inventory of building materials is digitalised. The digital model, in combination with experts, provide information on which materials and parts can be used in new production as well as in rebuilding projects. Thus, the tool is a critical step forward in construction’s embrace of the circular economy.

Tam Tam is an architectural temporary project with the aim to activate a regeneration process of/on public space, experimentig innovative ways of intervention based on principles of reuse, adaptability and active citizenship. 

It consists of 20 modules used to functionalize public space, they are movable and modifiable by shape and function, basing on citizen’s feedbacks.

We transformed a communist type school building whilst creating a “manual” for hundreds of similar schools in our region. Transformation is both ideological and physical.

Architecture is based on the concept multiplication, communication with all the communities involved, uncovering the old and honest, recycling & upcycling combined with new technologies, arts & crafts shared with young generation, economy, phasing and respect to the values of the 21.st century education.

House 4 House sets aim to teach children about sustainable design through play. Designed by architects in Denmark, every H4H set is inspired by the ways families build in different climate zones around the world. All elements of the product are sourced, manufactured and hand finished in Portugal. For every toy house set sold we have committed to donate 1/3 of our profits to help upgrade real houses in disadvantaged communities through a microfinance platform. H4H Tropical will launch in 2021.

Define, design and prototype new ways of partioning and improving the quality of living spaces. Partion solutions were developed by multitalented teams with architects, designers, manufacturers and marketing people from the furniture and construction industries. The main objective was to design partitions in order to optimize living space with multifunctional and scalable partitions. Those partitions are made of wood, bio-based or re-used materials; in other words "low impact" solutions.

In a beautiful place out in the country, in wineyards near forests, we built an
all-natural removable mobile round house ("upgraded yurt") that is not
firmly attached to the ground and is not connected to any utilities. It's fully
off-grid and self-sufficient. The electricity is generated by the low-budget
high-economy solar system for no more than 1000 EUR. A composting
separation toilet is included. It's standing here for almost 5 years already
and we are living here daily for 2 years.

Renewable energies such as wind and sun fluctuate, so it is becoming increasingly important to have storage facilities. Component activation is a technology that can effectively store energy without additional costs by using the existing building mass. The Preschool Hoppet is a building and innovation project aiming to be completely carbon-free. All decision regarding materials, design, and location on the plot, is based on the climate impact. This resulted in 70 percent less climate impact than a comparable project. Even though the design is based on the goal of achieving the lowest possible climate impact, the architectural height of the work has not given way.

Taking inspiration from the Bauhaus school, the idea is to create a European digital design archive that can become a touchpoint between all the various actors in the design process and that will collect the materials on an open platform. The real objective is to build a European exchange community with the aim to create a univocal cultural system that is able to enhance the diversity of each member state and shape a future Union that makes this diversity its wealth.

Heritage management institution, local arts initiative, urban gardening community and passionate heritage volunteers working together for 5 years to change the abandoned First World War heritage site to a resilient community hub in harmony with nature and history.

Largely based on voluntary effort and with limited funds, this has been a long, open co-creation process which has led to a unique place for arts and culture, biodiversity and community urban gardening with sustainability at heart.
