The mythological figure of the Phoenix is known for rising from its ashes and represents the symbol of rebirth and regeneration. Energy Box was born from this idea: a small sprout in search of redemption from a deep pain. The building is located in a hamlet of L'Aquila, built on the grounds of the pre-existing masonry cottage destroyed by the earthquake of 2009. An architecture as semantic and tangible passage between the "heavy" and indelible memory and the aspiration to a better future.

Through the regeneration of the Venetian Lagoon brackish marshlands, the landscape project "The Agency of Barene'' seeks to mitigate the threats of relative sea-level rise by providing a nature-based flood defence, restore an endangered ecosystem, invest in alternative slow-tourisms and enrich local economic vibrancy. Simultaneously, it enriches and enhances the cultural image of the lagoon: the diffuse sense of horizontality, reflection and visibility conveyed by the unceasing surface of water.

Bridge–Public–Space. From 2017 for a couple of summer weekends, Liberty bridge turns into an open public space where people finally find freedom in the heart of the bustling city. We are waiting for everyone with free, diverse and open events, partly self-organized by the local communities. Our program over the Danube creates new urban alternatives, builds communities, and allows for sustainable, participatory, co-created spaces to emerge in the city. The bridge is common, the space is public.

Our concept emphasises the potential for private urban gardens, the microclimates they create to improve living conditions within cities and maintain biodiversity.
