Agrisophia is a new educational venture that explores issues of sustainability through agriculture and connects urbanites to nature. Based in Andania, Greece, Agrisophia pilots models of learning in and with nature that can be replicated throughout southern Europe. Its first projects include a sustainability education program that unites Europeans of diverse expertise to improve circularity in olive oil production, and one to bring urban migrant children into nature.

Conca dell Incoronata used to be the main waterway in Milan. Its sluice solved the problem of large terrain drop during water transportation by raising and lowering the water level. In recent years, with the development of the city and other means of transportation, Conca dell Incoronata has been abandoned. gradually forgotten by people. This design creates a landscape with variable water levels according to the behavior and activities of the surrounding people, reviving people's memory of Conca

The project is a consideration of posthumous relations and spirituality in the modern and future world. Consciously experiencing loss is crucial to accepting a new state of affairs. One life cycle comes to an end so that another can begin. A fundamental and immutable law of nature. When transitioning from one state to another, attentiveness to oneself is important. Bereavement is a tool for transformation, in which a person transforms his or her way of thinking.

With our project we contribute to the protection and continuity of orchard meadows.
Orchards have a great value as biotopes that need to be protected. By using the fruits and manufacturing them into more complex products we want to raise awareness for these special places.
We invite everyone to explore and participate in this natural space using their own hands by either planting and pruning trees or taking part in the manufacturing process of apple juice, vinegar or cider.

Made out of new bio material nuxit®, using local organic waste source - walnut shells. re•born aims to educate kids about tactility and promotes indigenous tree species. After you are done with the product, simply plant it and a new life will grow out of it as a memory on your child not being a baby any more - a lifetime gift! :)

The SENSE5 initiative is an initiative that tries to connect primary school students with nature - learning through experience. Through extracurricular activities, students will: 1. touch nature (water, plants, animals,...), 2. taste the organic products of the village, 3. smell the mountain and caves, 4. listen and record the sounds of nature and 5. observe the celestial sphere with a telescope!

OTTER is a project that aims to spark young people’s interest in science and environmental sustainability with the help of Education Outside the Classroom (EOC) tools and methods, and to assess how these can help improve the sophisticated consumption and scientific citizenship of kids, as well as the transferability of cognitive, affective, social and behavioural skills through the implementation of EOC Labs across Europe.

Cēsis Pluriversity is an education research and design project that operates as a school without an address, and is aimed at turning a whole medieval town of Cēsis into the 21st century urban campus and learning environment by rearticulating given urban metabolsim and exploring how knowledge can circulate in already established spatial structures. In doing so it brings together geography, design and philosophy in order to explore new materialism based relational education methods and practces.

The idea to “soften” Sint-Paulus’ concrete playground came from pupils and teachers at the primary school in Kortrijk (Belgium). With parents, contractors, designers, and support from the city, provincial government and Erasmus+, they created a completely different environment. Now the playground has trees, shrubs and a vegetable garden, chickens, bees and a system to collect and reuse rainwater. As well as improving air quality and biodiversity, this connection to nature has made school a lot more fun.

Future Inventors is an education project of the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci that aspires to transform the way science and technology are taught at school impacting on the curriculum, approach and the physical places in which teaching and learning happen through the design and dissemination of a pedagogical methodology and related resources that exploit aesthetic experience, bodily engagement, self-expression and creative exploration.
