The original house was built in 1974 in a most conventional way (mainly concrete). Despite the experts’ suggestion to demolish the place we decided to renovate the house in 2018. Not only did we change the interior architecture; we also changed the material used – 100 tons of concrete was thrown out in exchange for 100 tons of earth for rammed earth floors and earth plaster. We used local timber and other sustainable materials. The project team: 30 architects &students from 15 nations

Outdoor classroom and permaculture garden Jume is a project within a larger informal education research and design initiative "Cēsis Pluriversity" established in the medieval town of Cēsis, Latvia. Jume is a community driven and curated outdoor classroom that is co-designed and created as a permaculture garden in order to critically respond not only to the conditions of pandemic and climate crises but also to bring into reality new ways of accumulating and sharing knowledge through permaculture.

Beaver Center is an ecological-educational-tourist station for observation and presentation of nature along Sotla river. It is built on the edge of the parched lake depression and partly levitates over the slope. This wooden-container-pavilion, with community spaces and with a central viewing staircase, has an info-point with a snack bar, a study, a gallery and a lecture hall. Construction is wooden. Larch facade interprets vernacular architecture and relates to cultural and natural environment.

Anslavs Eglitis (1906–93) was a jack of all trades — a writer, playwright, painter, journalist, athlete and dandy — the «young man» of his time, who spent his youth in Inciems. The exhibition is designed to be a social space for self-reflection. While interacting with the the exhibition, the visitor is encouraged to seek answers to the most important questions of life. The target audience of the exhibition is both young people and «young people» — everyone who is looking for their own way.

HA del castillo! is a project that allows us to work on depopulation issues in our rural areas and our heritage through play. A didactical project aimed at young population which results will serve for the implementation of the citizens heritage value (without focusing interest in tourism exploitation) because it must be addressed in a transversal way, and helps to through know that the monumental heritage can be positioned within the neighborhood in which they are enslaved through their memory!

Cerdeira - Home for Creativity is a community of arts where creativity and nature serves all purposes: to rest, learn, create and inspire. This community has a village as home and the world as inspiration. Here, creativity is combined with ecological sustainability and social responsibility, applied not only to the rehabilitation of schist houses, classified heritage, but also to the activities around art and creativity that we use as a means of connecting with the local community.

The Urban Art District Badia Lost & Found of Lentini is a project of urban regeneration that has transformed the streets of the historical neighbourhood Badia in an open art gallery and civic laboratory, with 34 artworks by local and international artists. It’s the first street art district in the province of Siracusa.
