NEB Prizes 2022: All Applications

EuroFabrique gives a voice to European youth, artists and thinkers to question the idea of Europe and its future. For four days, the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris has become a collaborative and transdisciplinar workshop, somewhere between a hackathon and a giant studio, bringing together 400 students from European top art and design schools. Together, they materialized the forms, imaginations and desires capable of re enchanting the idea of Europe in a sustainable, inclusive and beautiful way.

"Generazione Bellezza" (Beauty Generation) it's a cultural project designed to create an higher level of awareness about the value of tangible and intangible heritage, nature and personal talents.
The tool the tool to achieve the goal it's a TV program to show concrete actions and inspire emulation and change.
It's the storytelling of a Country and its inhabitants that enhance the beauty built over the centuries beside the one of today.

An interdisciplinary place of residence for creative people that provides artists-in-residence and other creative professionals with time, space and other resources for research, experimenting and professional development. The Residency is promoting the emergence of various new, world-exploring and reflective art forms, bringing together specialists from various fields for development of intercultural cooperation, interdisciplinary knowledge and promotion of location-related artistic research.

ESNAF TOYS® are handmade wooden magnetic toys for kids and design lovers inspired by BAUHAUS. They are ethically produced using local suppliers and natural materials, challenge children and parents in puzzle solving, teach them about animals, nature and combinatorics, and instil good taste. We strive to create practical objects as design art pieces and solve the problem of bad aesthetics in the world of toys. ESNAF TOYS allow for endless combinations with a minimum of magnetic tiles.

I'm applying with the pvc-pipe-tree sculpture on the facade of 59 Rivoli, Paris, which coexists with the artworks by other artists on the same one common facade. Even if my work of art exists since 24/10/2019, there are regular changes on the facade, which also affect the perception and understanding of my work. My work is still ongoing, still visible. The last facade change was the 25/08/2021, which is the date I specified. More information in the description of the application.

PLATTE.Berlin, a reinvented space in a typical former East-Berlin “Plattenbau”, aims to represent and connect the local creative community. It is space, platform and voice for fashion designers from Berlin and Brandenburg. PLATTE.Berlin partners up with institutions like Fashion Council Germany, Fashion Hub, Verein Berliner Modedesigner (VBM) and the German Fashion Designer Federation (GFDF) to create a space where the sense of belonging to a strong inclusive creative community is the main goal.

Dusts Catcher Kit is a simple, foldable and fully recyclable tool for collecting and materialising airborne dusts. The nanofabric inserted into the folding paper device materialises the particulate matter by collecting dusts particles from the environment and it transforms otherwise invisible airborne dusts into visible and tangible aesthetical objects.

Tuliuss is a pathway created in Vaskjala, Estonia, which highlights the biological diversity of the location, mimicking the European glowworm (in Estonian: Tuliuss). On the Tuliuss pathway, installations that glow in the dark offer new narratives related to the ideas for taking more time to rediscover our connections with natural surroundings. The pathway and the artworks can be found based on an online map that offer a unique experience especially at night.

Cultural landscape is the manifestation of man's connection to nature. The identity of an area is a mosaic of many pieces. From the dining room table, the shovel in the garden, the grazing cattle to the laughter of children and the sounds of the nearby forest. Underneath is a sense of well-being and harmony between living and non-living nature, based on a purposeful and spontaneous architecture. It's all part of a system that ensures a high quality of life for locals and smiles for visitors.

INCORP stands for “IN BODY” and to be “INCORPORATED” with ALL living things; is a platform asking questions about the body and community, engaging with nature and as many types of art as possible, including healing arts.
