InGarden Festival is a 3-day celebration of nature and art. The event takes place in green areas located in the center of Lublin - in Poland. The main attraction of the event is the exhibition of several show gardens, created by outstanding artists. The COVID-19 pandemic has created a clear need for green spaces. Our event is a response to this need. By combining elements of the natural environment, gardening, adaptation to climate change, art and high aesthetics, we have created the InGarden. 

The gradual construction of modular buildings according to the urban concept and architectural design of CH+K Studio creates a connection between the KOMA production area and the surrounding buildings – a Centre of Modular Architecture is being created. The vision of the Centre of Modular Architecture is to combine education, production and culture in one entity.

The main expected outcome and impact of DACWEED is to reduce the agrochemicals in the agriculture production. In this way, through automatic detection of weeds and intelligent specific sprayer to provide a healthier and safer food chain. In addition, this system is based on the ISOBUS  communication protocol (ISO11783) in agricultural machinery. Since ISOBUS is implemented in current tractors and is open source code any farmers with ISOBUS in his tractor could make use of this system.

Spazio Amato is the great neon light installation created by the artist Massimo Uberti for Hypermaremma 2020 as a tribute to the exceptional landscape of the Maremma Region, in Tuscany. The work is located in Terre di Sacra in the naturalistic oasis of Lake Burano; managed by WWF, and it is intended to establish a dialogue with the surrounding landscape. The aim of the artwork is to inspire the viewer to reflect on the unique character of the landscape and the value of preserving it. 

A group of 7 young volunteers and an 8.000 km expedition.

In the last 3 years we hiked the entire Sentiero Italia (world’s longest trek) in order to promote this incredible heritage with an original format based on real time storytelling, professional documentation of the whole trail and… active participation: as in the Forrest Gump movie, we invited the public to walk with us, giving life to a collective, grassroot experience which helped turn the spotlight on the Sentiero Italia.

Zero-mile food production is gaining popularity worldwide, due to greater awareness of the environmental impact of food transport and to expanding interest in healthy and sustainable diets.

To this purpose and to support a circular water economy we patented a system based on a biofilter, containing a consortium of microalgae and heterotrophic bacteria, applied to treat dishwater wastewater in order to reuse it in further washing cycles and for vegetable irrigation in a domestic vertical garden.

ALDEIA PINTADA is a project that emerged in Torre, a village in the county of Batalha.
The ideia was born from the will to document its heritage and use it as a boost for artistic creation.
The memories collected in dialogue with local inhabitants, are the basis for urban art interventions on the walls of the village.
These physical transformations of the village areas aim to enhance the memory, traditions and local identity, bringing back to the lives of the townspeople a sense of belonging.

''Pocket parks'' are new green spaces in sites that have been previously abandoned and formed urban gaps in densely populated neighborhoods of the city of Athens in all 7 municipal districts. They utilise creatively every inch of public space and form informal meeting places for residents and walkers with great benefits on biodiversity, social inclusion and climate change issues on a local scale reintroducing to the residents their neighborhood safer, cleaner and greener with cooler areas.

The city of Groningen created a design guideline 'New Space for Living' to inspire future projects to reclaim public space. The redesign of the Akerkhof is a great example of a project that meets these ambitions: more green areas, places to meet and experience. The goal of this project was to regain and transform an existing, historic public space and improve the quality of the experience for visitors. The result is an informal green space where people can sit and enjoy the city.

Since 2000 the ADI Design Index has represented the best in Italian design, chosen by the Permanent Design Observatory which comprises over 100 experts (designers, entrepreneurs, University researchers and specialized journalists).The selected products are published every year in a volume and on the Internet with images, detailed information and commentaries/articles and are presented to the general public in an exhibition at the ADI Design Museum in Milan and in institutional locations in Rome.
