Due to the imminent need to halt the advance of climate change, we are facing a paradigm in which the rehabilitation of rural areas is becoming an essential point in this regeneration process. Therefore, this project seeks to act on the revitalization of a regional livestock route with small changes that do not involve major alterations in the ecosystem but rather ensure that places that are currently disused or abandoned become generators of experiences.
The food system is one of the most polluting industry of our society. On the other hand, food can reconnect people and nature! By combining professional agriculture and amateur urban gardening, it is possible to improve the self-sufficiency of a community, but also have environmental and social benefits, such as: less polution and packaging, biodiversity improvement, heat island reduction, health improvement, social cohesion among different ages and ethnicities, food and environmental education.
A small developing idea of a multimodal guide (webpage, online app, social media, e-book, audio guide) for Greek cultural heritage environments developed for both Greeks and non-Greeks disabled visitors as they are often excluded from touristic and cultural spaces. This guide is built around disabled visitors' perspectives and evaluations and gives priority to artists with disabilities. The project has been acknowledged by an EU program, and my objective is to obtain funds to fully develop it.
In 2019 in EU OECD countries recycled only 14% of plastic material [1]. This situation is not sustainable and through this project I want to improve it. Plastic material is a valuable resource that should be recycled in bigger scale with affordable technology. By providing open source content and knowledge transfer, people can see real example how to process domestic waste into beautifull parametric bench with positive environmental impact.

How can we control the stimulation of different senses in permanent exhibition room(s) in the Dr. Guislain museum (Gent, Belgium), according to the type of visitor/caretaker, so it increases the level of participation for the visitor with mental impairments?
Modular shutter gardens allow everyone to have a garden at their windows, particularly people in high-rise apartment blocks without individual balconies. This system is based on individual sustainably manufactured wooden cells containing felt layers that can be attached to shutters and turned 360°, creating a space for plants to grow. The cells improve thermal performance, thanks to the shade, evapotranspiration and extra insulation layer provided by plants, which also reduce air pollution.
Todays economic system is based on over consumption. We are buying more then we can take care of, which result in loads of waste. Waste that includes a lot of valuable resources. These resources are the main driver for this project, namely chairs that have been thrown away. Chairs are a product that people use in their daily life, but how can chairs be a tool to design in a new way? This concept explores how we can rethink the way we use chairs, by upcycle the product and repurpose the material.
Stegne masterplan reconstructs the Stegne industrial zone which is located in the NW part of Ljubljana and is surrounded by urban areas and agricultural land. Through the middle of Stegne runs the railway that connects the city center with the north district. Area of focus is bounded by Celovška urban road on the West and the Ljubljana highway that passes along the South. With all this in mind we reconstructed and redesigned a new urban area free of heavy industry, full of greenery and life.
Open-Source Inclusive FabLab & Learning Hubs focused on low-threshold maker education, innovation and networking for people living with disabilities such as sight, hearing, motor or mental impairments.
This novel kind of package is made from tyvek, a sturdy and waterproof material. It can be reused repeatedly, which will help decrease the amount of paper waste generated by online shopping. After clients pick up their delivery they hand the package back to their local shop or post station.
