BASIS Vinschgau Venosta is a Social Activation Hub, initiated as a community project of regeneration of the former military areal and barracks Caserma Druso in South Tyrol. BASIS Vinschgau Venosta offers spaces, community events, network facilitation, and educational formats to enable the exchange of experiences, shared learning, and practical ways of doing. In this way BASIS Vinschgau Venosta facilitates the goal of all people involved to experiment in the activation and building of new ideas. 

We propose modules that have been designed to go beyond achieving the need to be able to work outside home while respecting the covid-19 security measures . In this way, its use is not considered as a seasonal event while the pandemic is ending, but rather it is intended to work in conjunction with other projects on an urban scale such as the Barcelona superilles project, in order to create a more functional and diverse public space. Therefore, this modules can also be implemented everywhere.

In this installation the idea is to retranscribe the sensations that one can feel outside, in a waiting room. For example: a sunset, a landscape or clouds. In the center different shapes create seats of "visions". Some planes are high, inclined or straight. These elements bring a comfort, a trajectory and they are woven like rafts ready to embark and accompany us in the vision of these images. The audience immerses itself, concentrates, breathes and comes out of it soothed.

In a beautiful place out in the country, in wineyards near forests, we built an all-natural removable mobile round house ("upgraded yurt") that is not firmly attached to the ground and is not connected to any utilities. It's fully off-grid and self sufficient. The electricity is generated by the low-budget high-economy solar system for no more than 1000 EUR. A composting separation toilet is included. It's standing here for almost 5 years already and we are living here daily for 2 years.

At Furutorpsplatsen in central Helsingborg, a long table sneaks its way between cherry trees. It is a social piece of furniture, created to combat social issues in the southern district. Today, it is a democratic meeting place where everyone has space. Where you are brought together with your neighborhood and spontaneously gather with neighbors and visitors for play, parties, flea markets, study and more. Through playfulness and interactivity, a reason is given to linger and to meet.
