Collective Assembly is a project that has been developed by two students together with the chair of digital fabrication at TU Munich to build a pavilion using participative AR technology. The geometry of the pavilion is built with one single element that is offering a multitude of interlocking connections. The simplicity of the element aims to unlock creativity and allow for an easy build-up of complex structures.

Wellness combines an emission of heat comparable to the warmth of sunlight with new hygienic habits inspired by traditional ablutions. Made of three elements : a long wavelength infrared heater, a basin and a water scoop, Welleness offers a different bathroom experience that marries technology, well-being and sustainability for young and old alike.
The aim of the project is to create a timber bus terminal that blends into a pleasant urban environment. The building is connected with non-motorised traffic trajectories and the car oriented space is transformed into a natural city park. The constructive wooden elements are inspired by Japanese joint system and are adapted to specific room typologies, while the module creates a gradually rising space that allows to divide spaces while preserving spaciousness.

The Design Deal is the agreement specifying the embedded design collaboration between the province of Drenthe, the municipality of Noordenveld, in which Veenhuizen is situated, the Veenhuizen Prisons, Design Academy Eindhoven and KETTER&Co. Veenhuizen, was one of the villages of the Society of Benevolence (1818-1859) after that a penal colony. This summer Veenhuizen will become a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Design Deal was signed three times for a multi-year period between 2013 and 2020.

Re-enactment: Lilly Reich’s Work Occupies the Barcelona Pavilion is a response to the gender inequality that haunts credit recognition. It broadens the understanding of the architectural project’s scope while questioning architectural elements’ transformation potential. Originally a research project implemented as an art intervention, now also an ongoing book project, it searches new paths to disseminate architectural knowledge as it looks at modernism through the lens of contemporary concerns.
In our countryside, many agricultural patrimony buildings from the last centuries lie sleeping. This abandoned architectural heritage offers many possibilities to limit urban sprawl, create affordable housing and invent new ways of living.The development of new communities would allow the reintroduction of local agriculture and the achievement of food autonomy. Our objective is to preserve the countryside and assist its development by valorizing the existing cultural heritage and landscape.
The heart of an ancient farmhouse in the Po valley, the old barn called “Casazza” open up to the community as a ductile space, a “museum of itself” and of the history that transformed it and, at the same time, a new Landscape Study Center oriented to the knowledge and conservation of the environment. Completed by a new pavilion that respects its image, the building develops on two floors connected by double-height spaces, while on the outside minimal signs renew the envelope, evoking its memory.
