Our inspiration came directly from the ocean, with the cleaning activity of oysters that are able to create pearls from something bad for them: we want people to learn from what nature has already proved, offering a sustainable pearl experience.

Architecture-in-Development (A--D) seeks to accelerate the development of the most inclusive and sustainable architectural projects worldwide by connecting local self-build communities with our global network of 60,000+ architects, building professionals, and blue chip partners and sponsors.

Flip the City makes biodegradable tiles created from duckweed, an abundant aquatic plant in the Netherlands. With the same dimensions as standard pavement tiles, these circular, biodiverse duckweed tiles allows anyone to easily "flip" their grey surroundings into flowering greenery. Made locally and designed to nurture native species, duckweed tiles revive biodiversity one flip at a time.

As a response to the complexity of today’s global challenges, such as climate breakdown and biodiversity loss, a more regenerative approach is increasingly being put forward. Regeneration implies enhancing an ecosystem, and leaving it better than it was. It’s an approach that puts life – human life, the planet, and everything it sustains – at the center of every action and decision. This project aims to explore the role of a designer in regenerating (eco)systems.

Mobile Youth Centre- is a dynamic, on-the-go youth centre designed to inspire and educate the next generation, right where they live. Our unique adapted van, equipped with cutting-edge resources, brings civic education, active citizenship, digitalisation, youth programs, and media literacy education to the doorsteps of rural and suburban youth. Collaborating with local schools, we're fostering inclusion and empowering young minds to shape their future.

The Kind Furniture is a project based on a regenerative design process that aims to share the joy of creating furniture from waste materials while making it an accessible experience. Our project’s ambition is to contribute to a society that interacts with the available resources in a more essential and sustainable way. To this end, we use waste from local sources in co-creation workshops where the participants are guided to directly engage in the material reconversion and furniture design.

"Nature's Embrace: A Community Celebration" is a multifaceted project designed to reconnect individuals with nature at the grassroots level. Through community nature walks, green space enhancements, art workshops, seasonal festivals, educational programs, film screenings, and nature journaling, the project seeks to instill a deep sense of belonging and appreciation for the natural environment. "Nature's Embrace" aims to bring about a shift in perspective towards sustainability and environmental.

BiblioAct revitalises a public library into a dynamic hub of creativity, connection, and community. Empowering youth with dynamic programs and fostering intergenerational collaboration, BiblioAct breaks down barriers, promotes inclusivity, and rejuvenates the essence of small towns. It cultivates the magic of interdisciplinary collaboration, celebrates cultural richness, and stands as an innovative space where every story matters. More than a library, it is a catalyst for community change.

TREN is more than just a piece of furniture; it's a sanctuary amidst the urban jungle. Crafted to provide respite and protection from the urban hustle and bustle, this installation's dimensions adapt to its chosen location, ensuring a harmonious fit.
