Berlin's TEUFELSBERG TRANSFORMATION LAB, situated on Teufelsberg Hill, pioneers a shift from conventional policymaking to collaborative, multidisciplinary approaches. By employing Design Thinking, it promotes trust, dialogue, and participatory democracy among activists, policymakers, and experts. Breaking free from political bubbles, the lab aspires to evolve into a fully functional policy transformation hub, fostering collective problem-solving and advancing progressive policy development.

Garden as a service is an innovative concept with the aim of reconnecting people from urban area with nature.

Finding new biomaterials. The main raw material in this project was cork dust and granules, as they are bio-waste and cork is one of the most sustainable material in the world. Composites created with the support of scientists use various binders and can be used in many industries. As an example, a hanger was created from one of the proposed biomaterials, because bilions of them (mainly plastic) are thrown away every year. The new utility process for this item has been redesigned.

Rasa (10 y.o.) and Amelia (12 y. o.) decided to take action and solve the actual problem themselves - improve children's eating experience at school. Girls identified problems: long waiting lines, food & water waste, too little time to eat and enjoy break. During research children realised, that the size of the food itself makes all the difference. Because smaller food you eat faster and more time is left to play. Basted on this idea, girls decided to create their own future food for kids!

We are a women-led textile collaboration effort that upcycles raw materials such as shredded blankets created from old saris to make new woven textiles tailored by hand and crafted using local textile traditions and techniques, giving these fabrics new life.

Six of ELIA's UAx Platform Abakanowicz Fellows from Lviv, a CrAFt reference city, supported by the CrAFt project’s international Core Group of Students, launch an independent CrAFt-UAx Student Think/Do Tank "Reimagining Bomb Shelters in Ukraine as Alternative Community Spaces”. The UAx students will use CrAFt's student-driven methodology, which is rooted in the NEB values. After an event in Lviv in June 2024, the next cohort of UAx students will be select to organise the event in December 2024.

The bedroom's project is an establishment of an emergency accommodation structure for refugees. This structure was designed during 15 days by a multidisciplinary team made up of young architects and journeyman carpenters. This international team brings together young Ukrainians, Japanese and French people to support the Ukrainian population in the current conflict.
The bedroom project is based on assembling pieces of wood to generate private spaces while optimizing space thanks to verticality.

The number of electronic cigarettes is increasing every year. Users of e-cigarettes say that if there were suitable containers for collecting used e-cigarettes, 40% of them would dispose of them properly. We want to reclaim and recycle e-cigarettes, raise public awareness about their harmfulness and increase social responsibility for this environmental issue. These points will be provided with relevant information on the value of each citizen's contribution to recycling.
