The Blue Heart is an experimental evolutionary planned adaptation model, based on a cyclic ecosystem-based territorial design system. It aims to recompose the deltaic fragments towards the decompartmentalization of ecological habitats through new hybrid forms of regional land use and infrastructure. The model starts with a paradigm shift in the nexus of water infrastructure-ecology-food-housing responding to current territorial challenges, and has as output restorative regional visions.

The “Open Source Playscape” is a bottom up process built on the interaction between design, public space and civic living labs. These laboratories move from the concept of Fab Labs, but expand their original digital approach to upcycling applied to recovered material. A design community is the core of the project. It works with a large network of partners to co-create sets of playful open components of public spaces that become tangible, friendly daily symbols of the European Green transition.

MYKO is a research by design sustainable business model focused on transforming the Living by connecting back to the roots, The Nature. Habitable spaces & products are realized to support and enhance the longevity of life on earth by eradicating the materials causing environmental degradation. Mycelium as a natural binding agent MYKO stays unique with its fabrication process by co-creating with nature and works for a shift towards a holistic natural environment to live in synergy with nature.

Ec(h)o is a convergence of past and future done in the present of unparalleled challenges we live. We are observing an inversion of the demographic pyramids which brings new socio-economical challenges that we propose to expose and capture in a documentary through the eyes of an ageing Portuguese population. Inclusion, circularity, and sustainability are the main keywords of this project that aims to learn from the elderly, amplifying their voices and lessons to be echoed for future generations.
