The “Design and Research” Master’s degree course for designers is entirely based on the 3 pillars of sustainability (society, environment, economy) and on the core values of the New European Bauhaus – sustainability, social inclusion and aesthetics. Collaborating with specialists from other disciplines, bringing about real change in the social environment through student projects and raising awareness of the needs of vulnerable groups are the basic guidelines us.

Art center NOASS is an NGO - initiative of creative rigans to create an inclusive meeting place for the community, arts and culture.
This initiative aims to ignite transformation, improving accessibility of this community centre and surrounding park all-year-long. It aims to work towards improving: functionality of the center; connection with nature in a busy city center; revitalization the park; transformation from a seasonal venue to functionallity all-year-long.

WeavAir project makes use of data on air quality, temperature, humidity and space occupancy to build a sustainability model for buildings and visualizations for educating citizens to make spaces healthier & more sustainable

With our partner the art network ′ato′, the project presented here also feeds from this conviction. Our motivation to show the ′WERKSTATTPALAST′ in this format is on the one hand to make the partners behind it - the ′HUB” and ′ato” - visible with their respective ideas.

'Follow Your Nature' is an opportunity for schools to imprint Nature in their students’ souls. As a nature literacy project, it provides young people, from all backgrounds and studying fields, with a systematic opportunity to learn, reconnect, and promote their local natural areas. The main goal is to provide with the tools to truly relate with these amazing areas, so that, after, they can showcase them in a short-film. This is a competition and Kids, and Nature are the biggest winners!

Studio was organized on the occasion of the founding of the national branch of DOCOMOMO in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The goal is the creation of a digital archive of Banja Luka modern architecture and urbanism, its digital reconstruction, protection, promotion, and narrative creation. Studio is formed as a collective effort, based on local social engagement with the objective of revoking collective identity and regaining a sense of belonging with the modernist heritage.

Our project aims to reconnect urban spaces with nature, to generate an ecosystem where it is easy to participate in physical activity, inclusion and autonomy. From a sustainable approach, we aim to transform and beautify (inside and outside) the educational centres. Through a chessboard and its squares (Zafra chess city), we will work on learning situations in an interdisciplinary way, where students become messengers, responsible for the change. What would be our lifestyle if we respected all the Detailed, Spatial Urban plans developed during 80s or 90s?
In just 30 years many of the cities had their population increased twice. Like Podgorica which had 50k citizens and currently there is more than 250k inhabitants.Was such a growth foreseen 30-40 years ago?Yes, it was. We will show you in the unique VR, AR and photo exhibitions where would we live today if used the cultural architectural treasure of urban planning developed for us.

CoCaps proposes, implements and evaluates an architectural higher education approach focusing on trans-disciplinarity and community engagement, involving the students with local stakeholders to co-design and co-implement sustainable, inclusive and high-quality public spaces. This approach aims to the development of transversal soft skills and competencies for the students and advanced participatory skills by immersing them in a real setting, redefining their role as future professionals.
