ReLabs is based on the 3 pillars: garbage, culture and citizenship. It started as a research project to review the waste management system of Madrid Municipality. The aim was to identify materials that have not end their useful life and reused them trough public open call to co-design and collectively construct playgrounds in municipal schools. The construction process is a pedagogic tool for environmental awareness and for education in participatory urban planning and place making.

We’re a biotech startup. We research, develop and produce functional 100% natural materials from fungal mycelium and waste from the agricultural and wood processing industries. We source all of our raw materials from renewable sources that are readily available locally. Our products are 100% degradable by natural processes and therefore harmless to nature (on the contrary, they serve as fertilizer). No harmful chemicals are used in their production and no additional waste is generated.

We make products from e-waste that are environmentally friendly and sustainable. We are careful stewards of human and natural resources and work with business partners throughout the product cycle that coincide with the philosophy of the circular economy.

Architectural project for mixed cultural and educational use with capacity for multifunctional spaces, built with the aim of being a social and cultural nucleus of the site. A formal planning axis similar to traditional agricultural techniques is used in order to avoid a violent landscape break with its environment, while providing it with an identity linked to the local culture.

Healthcare architectural project for the care of the elderly that innovates in the mode of social interaction of its users, while using subtle strategies to promote the active mobility of the patients.
Its geometry escapes rigidity, adapting to the terrain in order to enhance the transit of people.

Spaces assume the functions of home, street and parks to accommodate the life of users who spend more time in their facilities; while enhancing the views and environmental quality.

An abandoned former industrial building in the periphery of Bologna regain life as a multipurpose social-centre and is today a shared space for residents, young, associations and informal groups that organize activities everyday: Ex Centrale is a participative and multidisciplinary process of regeneration that transformed a crumbling former dairy produce in the ‘Hub of the Suburbs’ actively involving hundreds of locals in dreaming and realizing a new common and collective urban space.

The "FER-MENTI LEONTINE Community Cooperative Society" is configured as a new cooperative capable of creating innovation among the people who make it up, providing support to citizens, whenever the opportunity arises to generate community and economic values capable of to promote local development.

Clean Sea LIFE engaged marine lovers and professionals in an effort to preserve the health and beauty of the Mediterranean sea. The project inspired positive change in 170,000 Italian citizens and stakeholders: together we removed 112 tons of marine litter. CSL encouraged co-responsibility and collaboration, created and disseminated better waste management practices and influenced local and national legislations to reduce and prevent littering. The project was co-funded by the LIFE programme.

Bos-Grens; the soundwalk takes you on a journey trough nature, sound-art, stories and land-art. Inspired by the heritage of the past and the experiences of the present, you walk on and over the border of Belgium and the Netherlands through the forests of Clinge (NL) and De Klinge (BE).
Along the way you will find borderbenches and art installations, co-created with locals, built with the dead trees of the forest. Here you can listen to the soundtracks with unique border stories.

The Cupola [Koepel] prison, build around 1900, is a national monument and the connection between the main city center and the other side of the Spaarne river, traditionally not so rich and attractive. The renovating and repurposing started as a citizens' initiative. After a 6-year process, the former prison has been transformed into a place of hope. Today, the Cupola is the public epicentre for education, digital knowledge for future-proof small businesses, tourism and culture.
